Fan Yang and Zhuge Yan walked through the hidden door and were greeted by a corridor about four or five meters long. Further down were countless room doors, and there were some people wearing white coats.
Immediately afterwards, Zhuge Yan led Pan Yang to a room filled with glass tanks, in which lay dying mermaids, who seemed to have lost the ability to heal themselves.
White bones can be seen in many places on its body, and the originally shiny fish scales have become dull.

As he spoke, he took a button out of his pocket and pressed it. Pan Yang rolled his eyes as he watched the white mist rising in the room: "I'm not an innocent fool."
"Heh." Zhuge Yan chuckled lightly, "What am I going to do? You're so smart, I can't bear to study you."
"That's easy, just commit suicide in front of me."
"I'm afraid this won't be as you wish." Zhuge Yan stared quietly at the door, and after a long while, when he didn't hear a reply from Fan Yang, he snapped his fingers.
The guards hidden in the shadows came out and opened the door. Zhuge Yan looked around the room and was puzzled when he did not see Fan Yang.
Suddenly a white sword came flying towards him. Zhuge Yan was startled and retreated, but lost his footing and fell to the ground.
Pan Yang appeared in front of him, looking down at him: "Now everyone's dropping the pretense, let's just fight."
The guard helped Zhuge Yan up: "Boss?"
"Catch him, just don't kill him." Zhuge Yan's eyes darkened. All he wanted now was to capture Fan Yang. He desperately wanted to see such a proud mermaid in despair on the experimental table.

Then he quickly ran into the other rooms and hacked away wildly, leaving each room in a mess. He found the circuit and chopped at it, and after a burst of fire, the entire underground laboratory lost power.
Zhuge Yan took out his phone and turned on the flashlight: "Pan Yang, even if you can escape, do you think these mermaids can escape? Besides, you have no evidence to prove that I conducted illegal research."

An Xin was stunned when she heard this. Yes, she had never seen him before, but why would Zhuge Yan lie to her? She opened her mouth to refute, but found that she couldn't refute him at all.
"Can you let me see the lab?" Anxin looked at Huanyang, unsure of who to trust.
She cannot understand whether it is her own kind or her beloved person who is deceiving her.
Anxin returned home just as Zhuge Yan, who was standing at the door with anger on his face, softened instantly upon seeing Anxin.
Where did you go?
"I went to find Pan Yang." An Xin lowered her eyes.
"Why are you going to see him?" Zhuge Yan's heart tightened, and he gripped An Xin's arm a little harder.
"You're hurting me." An Xin gasped, and Zhuge Yan quickly let go.
“I thought it was just a misunderstanding between you and Huan Yang, so I went to find him. Who knew that Huan Yang would actually hit me and call me a traitor?” An Xin said, a few tears falling down her cheeks. “But I didn’t do anything wrong.”
Zhuge Yan breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this, and a smile returned to his face. He patted her head and said, "It's alright, it's alright. He's not you, he doesn't understand my good intentions."
"Yan, may I visit your lab?" An Xin looked up at him. "I'd like to help too."
"No rush, I'll take you there after I've taken care of things in a few days, okay?"
“…” An Xin looked at Zhuge Yan and nodded: “Okay.”
Just as Zhuge Yan was trying to find a way to capture Fan Yang again, he received a phone call from Fang Zhouyang.
"Pan Yang suddenly fainted, and my doctor can't find anything wrong. Can you help me?"
