Chapter 71 So what if I'm sick? 5

In an abandoned warehouse, Pan Yang was tied to a chair. Besides An Ru, there was a woman Pan Yang didn't recognize. Four bodyguards stood beside the woman, clearly indicating that she was no ordinary person.

An Ru looked at Pan Yang and muttered, "Won't the police really come?"

The woman looked at An Ru's undisguised disdain and said, "Don't worry, even if the police come, I'm here, so there's nothing to be afraid of."

"Is he really that close to Zhou Yang?" The woman looked Pan Yang up and down. He was quite good-looking, but unfortunately...

“Of course! He lives in Zhou Yang’s house. Zhou Yang even helped him with a lawsuit before and took all my property!” An Ru glared at Fan Yang, wishing he could kill him right then and there.

An Ru searched Pan Yang's body and found his phone, then dialed a number: "Pan Yang is in my hands. If you want him to live, bring two million in cash. I'll send you the address."

Upon hearing An Ru's voice, Zhou Yang was startled: "I advise you to release Pan Yang; what you're doing is illegal."

The woman burst out laughing upon hearing this: "My dear brother, how can you still be so naive?"

"Zhou Yu! What do you want to do? Release Pan Yang!"

Zhou Yu chuckled softly, placing her slender finger to her lips: "Brother, we're not stupid. It's time to return the shares that Grandpa gave you to the Zhou family after he died."

After a long silence on the phone, Zhou Yang's voice came through: "Okay, I'll draft the contract right away. Don't hurt him; he's innocent."

After hanging up the phone, An Ru looked at Zhou Yu: "What shares? I just want my money."

"Tsk, Zhou Yang will definitely give you the money later, what are you afraid of?" Zhou Yu walked over to Pan Yang and lifted his chin with her finger.

"Why isn't the young man saying anything now that he's awake? Or was he frightened?"

Pan Yang rolled his eyes without any attempt to hide it, showing no fear whatsoever: "I don't like to talk."

You think you can tell me whether I speak or not, you ignorant mortal?

“He’s a lunatic,” An Ru said, looking at the two of them. “I don’t know what method Zhou Yang used to get him out of the mental hospital.”

Zhou Yu glanced at An Ru with some displeasure, then put down the hand holding the ring: "Little brother doesn't know Zhou Yang's identity yet, does he?"

Pan Yang watched as she didn't interrupt, but instead leaned back in her chair looking relaxed.

“Zhou Yang is my father’s illegitimate son. He should have died at birth, but my grandfather liked him and even transferred a portion of the shares to Zhou Yang’s name.”

“But now that the old man is dead, how long do you think he can live now that he has shares in the Zhou family?” Zhou Yu looked at Pan Yang with a strange smile on her face, then covered her mouth and burst into laughter.

"How long have you been like this?" Pan Yang couldn't stand it anymore. If he could, he would point at Zhou Yu and tell Zhou Yang that this was the one who was crazy, and that he was perfectly normal.

"What?" Zhou Yu stopped laughing and looked at Pan Yang with some confusion.

"If you're sick, you need to get treatment," Pan Yang said earnestly, enunciating each word clearly.

Zhou Yu realized what was happening and her expression turned ugly. She looked at An Ru and said, "He's yours now. If you kill him, it's on me." Who dares to talk back to me like that?

Zhou Yu sneered and walked out of the warehouse.

An Ru perked up immediately upon hearing this, and a ruthless glint appeared in his eyes as he looked at Pan Yang's still calm expression.

Zhou Yu stood outside the warehouse, listening to the screams coming from inside, a smile appearing on his lips. He felt it was about time and ordered his men to open the warehouse.

"Alright, that's enough for Zhou Yang..." Zhou Yu's pupils shrank as he stared inside in shock.

It was clear that Pan Yang was completely unharmed, while An Ru had been beaten so badly that he couldn't even stand up.

"Grab him!" Zhou Yu felt a strange sense of fear, and the bodyguards behind him rushed forward upon hearing the order.

With a wave of his hand, a white sword appeared out of thin air in Pan Yang's hand. Zhou Yu was now even more terrified. What was this? A monster?

Impossible, absolutely impossible.

The bodyguard was quickly knocked to the ground by Pan Yang, who then walked towards him step by step, holding a white sword.

Gun! Right, I brought my own gun!

Zhou Yu quickly pulled out his gun and fired five or six shots at Pan Yang, but Pan Yang was unharmed; the bullets were actually split in two by the white sword.

When Zhou Yang arrived, the scene was chaotic. An Ru and several bodyguards were lying on the ground, and it was unclear whether they were still alive. Zhou Yu was squatting in a corner with a bruised and swollen face, holding his head and somewhat delirious.

Zhou Yang rushed to Pan Yang and grabbed his shoulders, asking anxiously, "Are you alright?" He looked Pan Yang up and down as if afraid he might lose a single hair.

"It's alright, they can't beat me." Pan Yang shrugged. This group of people are no match for me. It's so boring. The big boss is always so lonely.

Zhou Yang breathed a sigh of relief, then asked somewhat nervously, "Did Zhou Yu tell you anything?"

Pan Yang looked at him and shook his head: "No, she probably has some kind of mental illness."

“Let’s go first. I’ve already called the police. They’ll be back soon.” Zhou Yang pulled his arm and walked towards the door.

001: "Host, why don't you tell him what Zhou Yu said?"

Pan Yang: Since he doesn't want me to know, why should I tell him I do?

001: "That makes some sense."

In the end, An Ru was successfully imprisoned. As for Zhou Yu, when the police arrived, she was nowhere to be seen; only An Ru was lying on the ground.

After the kidnapping, Pan Yang could sense Zhou Yang's unease, but he didn't bring it up. Gradually, Zhou Yang spent less and less time at home, and then one day...

Pan Yang finally received the mental health certificate he had always longed for.

There were several documents on the table, and Pan Yang could clearly see the contents on them.

Zhou Yang took a deep breath and smiled: "After a long period of observation, you have indeed recovered. This is proof, stamped by the former dean. Zhao Nianyang has also been transferred to your household registration."

“I’ve taken stock of your assets; there shouldn’t be any problem taking care of Zhao Nianyang.”

"What about your will?" Pan Yang asked, looking at him.

Zhou Yang was clearly used to his surprising remarks. He took a deep breath and smiled helplessly, "Just a reminder, Pan Yang, can you tell me why you like me?"

He tried to appear normal, though his trembling hands betrayed him.

"Then why do you like me?" Pan Yang asked instead of answering him.

“I…” Zhou Yang was a little surprised, but felt that it was reasonable for Huan Yang to ask him a question: “I don’t know either, I just felt the moment I saw you that my heart was destined to be yours.”

Pan Yang nodded and said confidently, "You are mine."

Zhou Yang chuckled softly, slowly approached Fan Yang, and finally placed a kiss on the corner of his mouth: "I am yours."
