The scene flashed again, and a person appeared on the previously empty rope. The person was dressed in red, with their back to the screen, and then very slowly turned around to face the screen.
The next second, the female ghost's face was pressed directly against the screen, as if staring intently at everyone.
Liu Liu gasped and silently grabbed Annie's arm. Well, she admitted, she was indeed a little scared.
Then, to everyone's surprise, the female ghost stretched out a hand from the screen, followed by another hand, and then crawled out of the television.
Just then, Pan Yang picked up the remote and turned off the TV. Of course, the female ghost didn't get stuck; she simply disappeared into thin air.
Everyone was clearly taken aback. Liu Liu put her hands on her hips and exclaimed, "That's it? That's it?"
Anne looked at her helplessly: "Okay, just now you were clinging to my arm so tightly, it wasn't like this."
"Hey, Annie, don't embarrass me!" Liu Liu had barely finished speaking when the surrounding lights suddenly started flashing.
"Oh my god!" Liu Liu jumped up in fright and immediately grabbed Annie's arm: "What's going on! Did that female ghost come out of the TV?"
Annie patted Liu Liu on the shoulder: "We're all here, it's okay, it's okay."
Pan Yang stood there and simply summoned Xiao Yao, who quietly observed the surrounding movements.
"Forty-five degrees northeast," Zhou Yang's voice rang out.
Without hesitation, Pan Yang threw Xiaoyao out. Sure enough, Xiaoyao suddenly disappeared into the air, and then the image of the female ghost slowly appeared.
Xiaoyao passed directly through the female ghost's body, turned around, and pierced through her again before returning to Pan Yang's hand. Pan Yang raised his hand and swung it down, and in an instant, the female ghost vanished, and the lamp returned to calm.
Liu Liu breathed a sigh of relief and slumped onto the sofa: "That scared me to death. Luckily, Zhou Yang and Brother Pei reacted in time. We really shouldn't play around with these things."
Qin Yang rubbed his temples helplessly and took a deep breath: "Let's play something safer, this is too dangerous."
"Truth or Dare?" Annie's eyes lit up. "I remember seeing a deck of cards before." She opened the drawer and sure enough, pulled out a deck of cards.
"Great! I'm the best player at Truth or Dare!" Liu Liu said proudly.
Pan Yang shrugged. He didn't care anyway, and Zhou Yang was naturally the same.
“Okay, here are the cards. I’ll draw four 2s and an Ace. Whoever draws the Ace loses. Then you have to choose between Truth or Dare, and you have to take turns. No one can choose Truth consecutively!” Annie said as she started drawing cards and then shuffled them on the table.
Then everyone sat around the table, drew cards, and revealed their cards.
Liu Liu laughed wildly: "I told you I was the best! I didn't expect the first one to be Brother Pei. Come on, let's play truth or dare!"
Pan Yang put the cards on the table and leaned lazily against Zhou Yang: "Truth or dare."
Upon hearing this, Liu Liu and Annie exchanged a glance and smiled simultaneously.
"Ahem! What's going on between you and Zhou Yang! Tell the truth!" The two spoke at the same time, looking righteous and awe-inspiring.
Qin Yang was completely dumbfounded. He looked at Pan Yang and then at Zhou Yang, somewhat puzzled: "What's going on between those two? Aren't they good brothers?"
Liu Liu smiled mysteriously and shook her head: "Superficial, really superficial."
“It’s obvious that I’m with him.” Pan Yang held Zhou Yang’s hand and waved it in front of the three of them.
Zhou Yang nodded, clearly acknowledging the agreement.
Qin Yang's pupils dilated in shock as he stared at the two of them with wide eyes: "You two are gay?"
“No.” Zhou Yang frowned and shook his head. He was certain that he had no interest in other men: “I only like him.”
Annie tapped the table: "Okay, okay, next one, next one."
The cards are shuffled again, and then cards are drawn and revealed.
This time it's Anne.
Anne reluctantly put down the playing cards: "I choose truth."
Liu Liu chuckled: "If all five worlds were lived, what would Annie's wish be?"
"..." Annie's smile froze, then she sighed: "My wish is that my husband can recover his health. He is still in the hospital, but he is in a vegetative state and can only live with the help of machines for the rest of his life."
Liu Liu's smile gradually faded, and she said with some annoyance, "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to upset you."
Annie shook her head and smiled, "It's okay, let's continue, let's continue."
They played like that all afternoon, and then everyone went to the kitchen to prepare dinner.
Zhou Yang couldn't cook, so Liu Liu, Annie, and Pan Yang did the cooking. By the time everyone finished eating, it was already quite late.
Liu Liu yawned listlessly: "No, no, I have to sleep. I'm so sleepy. I'll share a room with Sister Annie. Remember to call us if you need anything."
The two entered the room, and Qin Yang scratched his head awkwardly: "Well, you two share a room, I'll be fine by myself. I'll definitely call you if I need anything."
Pan Yang nodded and pulled Zhou Yang into the bedroom. Qin Yang watched the two leave and then chose a bedroom that wasn't far away to go in as well.
The bedroom is very large; the bed could easily sleep three or four people. The bed is against the wall, and there is a painting directly opposite it.
Zhou Yang sat on the bed looking at the painting. The painting depicted a skeleton holding an umbrella and standing in red rain, which looked somewhat eerie.
Seeing his expression, Fan Yang glanced at the painting.
Zhou Yang pointed to the painting, his voice flat: "There seems to be something wrong with this painting."
Pan Yang walked to the painting and raised his hand to take it down, but as soon as he touched the painting, the skeleton in the painting suddenly reached out and grabbed Pan Yang's wrist. Pan Yang felt a burning stinging sensation in his wrist.
He grabbed the skeleton with his bare hand and pulled it out of the painting. He then stomped on the skeleton's head, crushing it into powder. The painting then fell to the ground, and both the painting and the skeleton disappeared.
Zhou Yang held Pan Yang's hand and saw a black palm mark on his wrist, clearly made by the white bone. Zhou Yang felt inexplicably sad and gently blew on it.
Does it hurt a lot?
"It doesn't hurt, you're fine." Pan Yang withdrew his hand. How could the big boss be in trouble? He looked up and patted Zhou Yang's head: "Go to sleep first."
Zhou Yang's gaze remained fixed on Fan Yang's wrist; to be honest, he was somewhat worried.
Pan Yang didn't mind. He pulled Zhou Yang to lie down on the bed and brought him closer to his arms: "It's okay, just sleep quietly. There are still six days left."
After a long pause, Zhou Yang nodded and said in a serious tone, "If you feel unwell, you must say so."
"I know." Pan Yang said helplessly. He was really fine. It just looked scary, and he would probably feel better in a few days.
