Chapter 318 Dazzling Like the Sun 4

After resting for a day or two, Pan Yang went to the film crew for an audition. This movie was the one that made the original owner of the body famous, and he was auditioning for the role of the third male lead.

This character is both righteous and evil. Although he doesn't have many scenes, he plays a crucial role. If played well, he can be very captivating.

Miao Miao stood beside him. Miao Miao was his assistant. Although she was a boy, her name sounded like a girl's. He glanced at the interviewee and took a deep breath: "Brother Qi, just do your best."

Pan Yang glanced at him: "How about we make a bet?"

"Huh? What kind of bet?" Miao Miao looked at Pan Yang with a blank expression.

"If I get the job, you give me three hundred yuan."

"What if Brother Qi didn't get the job?"

“There’s no way I didn’t get the interview.” After saying that, Fan Yang saw him and casually walked onto the stage, his eyes seemingly filled with contempt: “I’ve said it before, whether you succeed or fail is none of my business. If someone in your group dies, it just means you were not skilled enough.”

The director blinked. This was a direct approach. He knew this scene: after someone in the main group died, they met the third male lead again and couldn't help but question him.

"Of course, you can also just kill me." Pan Yang glanced at his men, chuckled lightly, but his eyes remained expressionless: "But do you have the ability?"

"Fine, I'll help you one last time." Pan Yang shrugged, then snapped his fingers and slowly said, "Watch your back."

"Great!" The director stood up immediately. He felt that this role was tailor-made for this person. He walked onto the stage and realized that he had lost his composure. He cleared his throat awkwardly and said, "Qi Panyang, right? Well done, very good. Go back and prepare. Wait for my call. I have high hopes for you."

"Thank you, Director." Pan Yang nodded, turned and left the stage. Miao Miao then realized what was happening, and his face lit up with joy: "Brother Qi, does this mean it's okay?"

"Money." Pan Yang looked at him and spoke calmly. Only then did Miao Miao realize what was happening and transferred three hundred yuan to Pan Yang. He wasn't sad at all; on the contrary, he was quite happy.

"That's great. If things continue like this, Brother Qi will be able to get up soon," Miao Miao muttered softly.

Pan Yang glanced at him, then looked towards the exit and saw Zhou Yang's figure. He wasn't surprised at all that Zhou Yang had found him. He had already sent the address to Zhou Yang before coming, and Zhou Yang was also carrying a locator.

"Did you get the job?" Zhou Yang walked over and naturally took Pan Yang's hand. He had originally wanted to come with Pan Yang from the beginning, but his secretary kept urging him because of things at the company, so he had no choice but to come so late.

"It's a success." Pan Yang nodded and gripped the boat again.

“Okay.” A smile flashed in Zhou Yang’s eyes as he held onto Pan Yang tightly. He had planned to give the director some money if Pan Yang didn’t pass the interview, but it seemed that Pan Yang was capable enough that he didn’t need his help.

Then Zhou Yang's phone rang. He took it out and hesitated for a long time before answering. Sure enough, his secretary's nervous voice came through the phone.

He simply replied with an "Mm," then hung up the phone. After that, he looked at Pan Yang without saying a word, holding Pan Yang's hands in both of his.

"Shall I go to the company with you?" Pan Yang asked upon seeing this.

Zhou Yang nodded: "Okay." Then he pulled Pan Yang outside, and Miao Miao looked at the two of them, not knowing what to do.

"Miao Miao, you should rest for half a day. Don't worry about me. If Sister Song asks, just tell the truth."

Miao Miao breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing Pan Yang's words. Since she could tell Sister Song the truth, there should be no problem, right?

When the secretary saw her boss leading a handsome man over, she was shocked. Upon closer inspection, she realized that this was the man in the photo on her boss's desk.

"President, you're finally back. There are several documents that need your review, and we have a meeting in an hour." The secretary immediately got to work.

Zhou Yang frowned, seemingly displeased. His demeanor was reserved and composed. He parted his thin lips slightly, his voice low and devoid of emotion: "Understood."

He then went into the office, and Pan Yang went straight to the sofa and lay down. The sofa was quite comfortable.

Zhou Yang glanced at him before starting work.

Pan Yang looked at his phone with some boredom when Sister Song quickly sent him a message.

Sister Song: You went to Zhou Yang's company with him? How did the interview go? Did you pass?

Pan Yang: The director said to wait for further notice.

Sister Song was silent for a few seconds, waiting for a notification that meant she had been politely declined.

Sister Song: It's okay, we have plenty of scripts. I'll pick an even better one for you later. Just behave yourself and don't cause any trouble.

Pan Yang raised an eyebrow, but didn't reply. Instead, he opened the game and started playing.

By the time Pan Yang arrived at the film set, seven or eight days had passed. They were preparing to take photos for the set. Sister Song was overjoyed when she learned that Pan Yang had arrived; she had thought he had been rejected.

The crew members were all very nice, and the male and female leads were both talented actors. The overall atmosphere was quite good. On the first day, the female lead treated the entire crew to milk tea.

Pan Yang sat on a rocking chair under the photography studio, took a picture and sent it to Zhou Yang. He realized that Zhou Yang in this world was unusually clingy, but he didn't mind since it wasn't a big deal.

Zhou Yang quickly replied: Okay, I might get off work very late today.

The film crew is quite far from Zhouyang Company.

Zhou Yang: Who gave you the milk tea in your hand?

Pan Yang: The female lead in the drama series; she appears in the entire cast.

Zhou Yang looked at the message on the screen and tapped on his phone: "Drinking too much of this isn't good. I'll make you fruit tea when we get home."

"Chatting with your friends?" the female lead asked, noticing her, before sitting down beside her, exhausted from walking around.

“Not friends.” Pan Yang shook his head and continued replying while tapping the screen.

The female lead was just asking casually; she didn't really want to know who the person was chatting with. Then she grinned and said, "It's nice to have someone care. This movie is going to take a long time to film, and I don't know when I can go home. Let's make some friends."

Pan Yang looked at her without speaking, but the female lead wasn't embarrassed at all: "Zhang Yue, that's my name." She was betting that this person definitely didn't remember her name; it was just her intuition.

Pan Yang nodded: "Qi Pan Yang."

"I know, I saw that little drama you acted in before, it was such a waste of your talent." Zhang Yue put the milk tea in her hand on the table: "You weren't chatting with your boyfriend, were you?" she said half-jokingly.

"Mm." Pan Yang nodded.

"Huh?" Zhang Yue's eyes widened. No way, it really is her boyfriend? She was just saying it casually, and this person just admitted it like that. Isn't he afraid she'll spread rumors?

Zhang Yue glanced at Pan Yang, who only gave her a brief look before turning off his phone, placing it on the table, picking up his script, and rocking back and forth in his chair, looking completely at ease and unconcerned about what he had just said.
