Mo Sheng'er's classmates, however, were very interested. "Really? Is it really that effective?"
Linghu Lan smiled and said, "Would you like to try it?"
"Okay, okay!"
Linghu Lan walked up to Beast and said softly, "No spitting, you can only shake your head or nod, understand?"
Beast flashed its teeth: "Foolish mortal, I don't want to!"
Linghu Lan took a dream from the wall and shook it in her hand.
Beast's eyes widened in surprise.
Linghu Lan pointed to Mo Sheng'er's classmate and asked with a smile, "Do you like that girl?"
Beast shook its head repeatedly.
Linghu Lan then pointed at Mo Sheng'er: "Do you like that Miss Mo?"
Beast pursed its lips.
Mo Sheng'er hurriedly retreated, and Linghu Lan tapped the beast's head: "Don't spit!"
Beast regretfully shut her mouth and glared fiercely at Mo Sheng'er.
Linghu Lan pointed to herself again. "Do you like me?"
Beast stared wide-eyed at Linghu Lan. "Why are you asking such a shameless question?"
Linghu Lan: "..."
She waved the dream in her hand.
Beast immediately nodded vigorously, almost as if it were pounding garlic.
Linghu Lan poked its little head with her finger with satisfaction, having successfully shown off!
Mo Sheng'er and her female classmates were absolutely stunned. There really was such an amazing pet! It was incredibly cute, absolutely adorable.
Linghu Lan gave the dream to Shou Shou, who happily held the dream and hid to the side, eating it in small bites.
While eating, she glanced back at Linghu Lan and muttered to herself, "I don't like her at all, yes, I don't like her at all." But as she spoke, her face turned red, and even her favorite dream about food lost its flavor.
Linghu Lan looked at Mo Sheng'er with a smile on her face. "Miss Mo, that's how it happened!"
Mo Sheng'er glared at her female classmate, feeling extremely embarrassed. "It's all your fault! You insisted that it liked me, and now it's spitting on me."
"I'm sorry, I didn't know a pet could understand human speech. Do you think it vomited on us because it heard us talking badly about the boss?"
A single sentence reminded Mo Sheng'er that it might really be true! Animals have very sensitive hearing; if it could truly understand human speech…
Thinking of this, he suddenly felt guilty, and kept his mouth shut, not saying another word.
Not long after.
The previous group of guests woke up.
Linghu Lan arranged for Mo Sheng'er to enter the dream world. Mo Sheng'er looked at Linghu Lan suspiciously, hesitating to speak.
Linghu Lan glanced at her silently and said calmly, "Speak your mind!"
"It's nothing!" Mo Sheng'er turned her head away. "You'd better be telling the truth, otherwise, I'll report you when I wake up!"
Linghu Lan was speechless for a long time. "Don't you use your brain when you go out?"
Mo Sheng'er was furious. She sat up from the recliner and glared at Linghu Lan: "What do you mean!"
Linghu Lan gave her a meaningful look, her tone laced with sarcasm, "Being straightforward is a good thing, but being so straightforward that it's unpleasant is not. Miss Mo, you don't represent the truth, and the truth isn't always in your hands. Keep dreaming! I hope you'll find some integrity in your dreams."
Linghu Lan waved her hand. Mo Sheng'er wanted to argue with Linghu Lan for a few more words, but she felt her eyelids get heavy and quickly fell asleep.
Linghu Lan smiled slightly, composed herself, and entered Mo Sheng'er's dream. (Or search for "Remember to remove the '/' when searching, otherwise you won't find it," where there are lovely ladies to help you find books and chat with you!)
