"It has been underground for thousands of years, so it probably already has the ability to transform into a human," Linghu Lan thought for a moment and replied.
Ba Hai found it amazing, but also somewhat regrettable.
He thought he would see a divine dragon soaring into the sky, but instead, a baby emerged. If he hadn't seen the baby come out of the egg with his own eyes, he wouldn't have believed it was a dragon.
Linghu Lan reached out her hand, and the baby's tiny hand instantly grasped her fingers, melting Linghu Lan's heart.
Since you're so cute, I won't hold it against you being just a little kid.
Ba Hai wanted to go up and help, but the moment he got close to the rainbow light, he was thrown far away.
Ba Hai suddenly thought of the little golden dragon on Linghu Lan's forehead, and belatedly realized that the little golden dragon was actually a pass.
It seems not everyone can raise a dragon!
Linghu Lan wanted to take the baby out, but she keenly noticed that the changes were still ongoing.
The baby was growing at an astonishing rate, changing almost every minute. At this point, Gu Lingsheng already looked like a three- or four-year-old human child.
Ba Hai, who slowly moved back, was dumbfounded. In the short time it took him to be thrown back, he saw that the baby in the dragon egg had grown into a seven or eight-year-old child. This growth rate was definitely not something a human could achieve.
He was paralyzed with fear, his eyes fixed on the child in the rainbow light, who grew into a teenager, a young man, and a mature man. It was as if time flowed differently in the rainbow light than in the real world, where one minute was equivalent to one year in the human world.
Finally, after a long time, the man did not change, and the rainbow light dissipated, faded, and gradually disappeared.
The man appeared in front of the two of them.
Looking at the handsome man before him, Ba Hai suddenly felt ashamed of himself. He felt so insignificant and ugly in front of this man that he couldn't help but curl up and wished he could find a crack in the ground to crawl into.
Linghu Lan stared at Gu Lingsheng in a daze.
This is wonderful! I finally don't have to raise my husband like a son anymore.
"Are you Gu Lingsheng?"
Gu Lingsheng smiled slightly, "My wife, you don't recognize me after just a short time?"
This style, it's still the familiar taste.
"Ha ha ha ha!"
Linghu Lan couldn't help but laugh out loud. She quickly stepped forward, looking at Gu Lingsheng with a beaming smile. "Let's go, let's have another three hundred rounds tonight!"
Gu Lingsheng looked at his hands with his clear, bright eyes and laughed, "This time we can play rock-paper-scissors. I have five fingers now!" With that, he stretched out his smooth fingers in front of Linghu Lan, like a child asking for a reward.
Linghu Lan quietly tugged at his finger and said with a smile, "Okay, it's a deal, no going back on your word."
Ba Hai stared in disbelief as the two chatted and laughed, their familiarity as if they had known each other for thousands of years.
He looked up at the sky again, but the dragon in the clouds had disappeared like a rainbow, as if everything was to highlight the birth of this man named Gu Lingsheng.
Gu Lingsheng glanced at Ba Hai, his gaze devoid of emotion, yet Ba Hai felt as if his heart was about to burst under an invisible pressure. He only saw Gu Lingsheng lightly raise a finger, and he himself was instantly propelled into the air as if on an airplane, flying straight down the mountain. Soon, he landed on the ground at the foot of the mountain, completely unharmed.
Then, his backpack fell to his feet.
