The beast had no sense of tenderness, and Mo Sheng'er fell heavily to the ground, instantly waking up completely.
She was stunned for a moment, then her beautiful eyes met Linghu Lan's bright eyes, and she instantly exploded.

Mo Sheng'er's delicate face was filled with resentment and malice. When she met Linghu Lan's ambiguous smile, she felt a fire burning fiercely in her heart.
"You didn't lie to me, but you've been hinting at things all along, deliberately trying to lead me astray. Ji Liang, do you dare say you haven't done anything to me?"
"How dare you! Aside from letting you dream on, I've actually shown you some mercy." Linghu Lan ignored Mo Sheng'er and walked to the Demon Association president. Using the Immortal-Binding Rope she'd taken from an elder, she tightly bound the president. After finishing, she looked up at Mo Sheng'er with a smile. "Miss Mo, don't you think so?"
Mo Sheng'er then saw clearly the person Linghu Lan was binding: the president of the Monster Association.
Her earlier determination to reason with Linghu Lan vanished instantly. If Ji Liang could tie up the president of the Demon Association, he would surely be able to use even more vicious methods against her.
But Ji Liang didn't. So, is it because I know Ji Liang will reason with me that I'm so fearless?
Having figured this out, Mo Sheng'er felt a pang of guilt, then raised her head and glared at Linghu Lan with resentment, betting that Ji Liang wouldn't dare to do anything to her!
Seeing Mo Sheng'er's guilty look made Linghu Lan want to laugh. That's how the world is. If you're kind, others will think you're weak. If you're compassionate, others will think you're easy to bully. Mo Sheng'er, despite her young age, had clearly mastered this art.
Linghu Lan continued, "Miss Mo, is it so hard to admit that you have wicked intentions? If you hadn't eavesdropped that day, how would you have known I went to Tu Niu Mountain? Didn't you go to Tu Niu Mountain to follow me and see what I was doing? If you are really as pure and kind as you think, with a very upright set of values, why would you do something like eavesdropping and following me?"
Mo Sheng'er's face turned pale. She clutched her chest tightly, feeling as if she couldn't breathe.
Is she really morally corrupt? It's really hard to admit that you have wicked intentions.
"I just want to see what you're up to, I want to expose your true colors. What makes you think you're so high and mighty? Is it wrong for me to want my own opportunity? That opportunity was originally mine, it was mine. You snatched it from my hands and made me fall into the hands of a monster, living a life worse than death. Ji Liang, whatever you say is just sophistry. I hate you, I wish I could tear you to pieces."
"So, this opportunity is yours?" Linghu Lan laughed. "What is an opportunity? It's something that those with the right fate will obtain. Now that I've been reborn, everything will change, and so will the opportunity. Do you still think it's yours?"
