The surroundings emitted a dim light, exuding a sinister and terrifying aura. Linghu Lan had only ever seen this aura in the Ghost Realm, but this place was more ancient and solemn than the Ghost Realm. Compared to it, the Ghost Realm was obviously much newer.
Linghu Lan turned around, but the exit she had come from was no longer visible. The surroundings were empty and quiet. She took a step, and the sound of her footsteps startled her.
However, she quickly adapted to the emptiness and needed to find the secret to clearing the level.
Here, time is life.
As she walked, she bumped into something dark with a thud. It felt like an impenetrable wall, and because it was black, it was not easy to spot in the dim light.
Linghu Lan touched it and walked out, walking for over a thousand meters, but still hadn't reached the end. It seemed to be a wall without end...
She couldn't help but feel a chill run down her spine. Could this be the legendary "ghost wall"?
Just as she was hesitating about what to do next, two voices came from above her.
“I won; she didn’t even realize she had walked in a circle while touching the tree.”
Another voice scoffed, "How stupid!"
Another tree?
Linghu Lan looked up and vaguely saw four eyes gleaming with an eerie light. She took a few steps back, and with a hint, she looked again and indeed saw the outline of a giant tree that blotted out the sky.
This is a tree that seems to have stood here since the beginning of time, silent, solemn, and weathered. Unlike the first tree she saw, which was full of life, this tree has no leaves or fruit, only gnarled branches, with an air of fighting against the heavens.
"Excuse me, where is this place?" Linghu Lan asked.
"Why should I tell you? You're going to die soon anyway."
No sooner had he finished speaking than another person exclaimed, "They're here!"
Alarm bells rang in Linghu Lan's mind. She looked around and saw countless dark night wolves surging in from all directions. Their heavy breathing and running sounds grew louder as they approached, surrounding Linghu Lan and baring their teeth at her. The night wolves did not attack immediately, as if soldiers were waiting for a command.
Sure enough, the night wolves automatically split into two lines, and a huge wolf walked slowly with an arrogant gait, carrying a person on its back.
She looks exactly like Nangong Mo!
A suffocating sense of eeriness threatened to overwhelm Linghu Lan, but she had no time to think about it.
run!
That was Linghu Lan's first thought. She quickly took off her hairpin, stuck it into the tree, and prepared to climb up.
But that one stab led to tragedy.
It seems to have hit iron, but couldn't penetrate it at all.
The two in the tree laughed, "Hahaha, you actually think you can climb up the Kunwu tree by sticking your foot in it? How ridiculous! You can't possibly stick your foot through the Kunwu tree."
"Heh heh!" Linghu Lan was furious. With a flick of her wrist, she sent her hairpin flying towards the tree.
"Ouch!" A voice screamed as a small, dark-skinned figure fell to the ground and vanished instantly.
"You hurt my brother! Men, get up and kill her!" The voice from the tree was furious, and in an instant, a cacophony of chattering arose from the tree.
Where?
"Kill her!"
"Kill this monster."
"Attack!" At the command of the Night Wolves' master, countless Night Wolves pounced on Linghu Lan.
Linghu Lan's heart was trembling; was she going to die?
She forced herself to remain calm, took out a cloth package from her bosom, quickly opened it, and a beam of golden light shot out from the package, instantly enveloping the surrounding area.
Countless night wolves howled and turned their heads.
The blinding light was unsettling to their eyes, which were accustomed to the darkness; it felt as if sharp swords were piercing their souls.
Along with this came countless screams from the trees.
"Oh, my eyes!"
"What the hell is this thing?"
"This is the fruit of immortality."
"She's a thief; she stole the immortal fruit from Heaven."
Yes!
People leave their mark as they pass by, and even geese are plucked as they fly by!
The immortal tree, a tree that only exists in myths and legends, with such strange fruit, how could Linghu Lan not pick one?
