She looked up at the ancient city before her. Half of the city was buried under the sand, and the buildings inside were in ruins. Only the huge bronze gate showed just how powerful the Ghost Mother Kingdom was.
After applying the 'medicine', the group removed the backpack from the corpse and tossed the body aside.
Someone, unable to bear it any longer, asked, "Are we just going to leave the body like this?"
"What else? Dig a hole and bury him? Don't be stupid. Where are we? There's no time to care about corpses here. Just mind your own business."
Gu Peng glanced at the corpse, his throat moved, but he said nothing. He picked up a stick from the side and held it in his hand.
The others followed his example, picking up some sticks and tapping on places where snakes might be. They slowly moved forward and, sure enough, heard rustling sounds in the sand dunes. There were sand dunes arched up in several directions as snakes crawled.
"Holy crap, there really is a snake."
Everyone was startled, but then felt relieved to see the snake had been frightened away.
Suddenly, someone tapped a pile of sand with a stick, flicked it, and with a buzz, a huge, dark swarm of insects pounced on everyone.

"Holy crap! Run!"
Before they could figure out what it was, everyone rushed forward.
Jiang Fu suppressed the burning anger in his heart and shouted, "Keep running along this road!"
