Linghu Lan couldn't figure it out, so she had to temporarily give up thinking about it. She looked at the woman and said, "Where do you live? Take me there!"
"Okay, okay! Thank you so much." The woman was desperate and grasping at straws. Seeing Linghu Lanken go was like grabbing a lifeline, and she wouldn't let go.

The black cat saw her, and its yellow eyes suddenly seemed to come alive. It stood up from beside the baby and walked step by step toward the woman. The woman was terrified. Seeing a busy figure in the kitchen, she hurriedly called out, "Mom, why did you bring the baby back again?"
From the kitchen, the baby's mother replied, "I'm out of formula. I'll bring him over to get some, and then I'll take it back tomorrow. Where's your cat food? I've been looking for ages and can't find it. The cat looks so thin these past few days."
Cat food?
The cat had reached the woman's feet and meowed, seemingly questioning her.
The woman's legs went weak, and there was no cat food left. After losing her cat, she was heartbroken for a while, so she gave away all the cat food, cat bowl, and cat litter.
Moreover, this cat doesn't eat at all.
The woman looked at the cat cautiously and said in a trembling voice, "Black Bean, I...I know you were killed, but I wasn't the one who killed you. Go find the person who killed you, okay? I was so good to you before, please stop bothering me and the baby, okay?"
"Meow!" The cat's eyes were wide open; it was unclear whether it understood.
When Linghu Lan walked in, this was the scene she saw. The woman was almost driven mad by fear. She quickly walked around the cat and picked up the innocently laughing child.
Upon seeing Linghu Lan, the woman seemed to find her anchor, and a glimmer of hope flashed in her despairing eyes.
Linghu Lan crouched down and reached out her hand to the black cat.
The black cat retreated in fear, meowed, and stretched out its sharp claws toward Linghu Lan.
