During their escape, food was scarce. Lin Que accidentally found a piece of chocolate in her pocket, which led to a dispute with Jiang Qiao's classmate and friend, Mo Qianqian. Mo Qianqian accused her of keeping the food, but Lin Que naturally refused to take the blame.
At the critical moment, as the most powerful person in the team, Jiang Qiao stood on Mo Qianqian's side without hesitation and kicked Lin Que into the zombies.
After Lin Que's death, her father, Lin Changhe, attempted to avenge her by attacking Jiang Qiao. Jiang Qiao saved him, and he died in the mouth of a zombie.
