midnight.
Fu Xin tossed and turned, finally managing to fall asleep.
He felt someone quietly cover his mouth and nose. He opened his eyes wide and saw Linghu Lan's bright eyes in the moonlight. He was instantly relieved and followed Linghu Lan's gaze. He saw smoke coming in through the crack in the door.
Fu Xin gently bit Linghu Lan's finger with his teeth, the force of his bite was just right, enough to stir up feelings in one's heart.
Linghu Lan was almost laughing in anger. Under such circumstances of being plotted against, he still managed to take the opportunity to flirt with her. His mental fortitude was truly impressive.
She flicked her head towards Fuxin.
