The dwarves continued speaking one after another, until the last dwarf seemed to have nothing more to say, and slowly said, "Sit down!"
Linghu Lan watched the dwarves' mouths open and close, completely ignoring what they were saying.
Her heart was filled with a mix of excitement and confusion.
If the story is truly about Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, then there's really no need for the system to repeat itself. This story is practically a household name. Linghu Lan has watched countless versions of the Snow White story and movies since she was a child, and she can practically recite the plot by heart.
She carefully sat down on a low stool and asked, "Are you the seven dwarfs?"
“No!” a dwarf looked at her sternly.
“No!” the second dwarf said, looking at her reproachfully.
One by one, the dwarves behind them denied it.
Linghu Lan: "..."
"And who are you?"
"We are dwarfs!"
Linghu Lan: "What??? Are you bullying me because I can't count? There are clearly seven of you."
One of the older dwarves said, "Snow White didn't make such a grave mistake as you."
"There will never be another girl in the world as understanding as Snow White."
"Perhaps we should forgive her, after all, she is not Snow White, but just like other ignorant village women."
The seven dwarfs chattered amongst themselves, leaving Linghu Lan completely bewildered.
Ignorant village woman
hehe!
She interrupted the chattering dwarf with a sigh and asked, "Excuse me, is there anything I said wrong?"
“Of course not!” the elder dwarf’s voice was stern. “We are not seven dwarfs, but one dwarf.”
Linghu Lan was utterly speechless. "Excuse me for speaking frankly, but I did see all seven of you."
The tall dwarf said, “I am not wrong. We are indeed a group of dwarfs. I have a split personality. The other six dwarfs are my split personalities. The seven of us live together in the forest.”
Linghu Lan was completely stunned.
Wow, my dwarf!
It's amazing that one person can split into six versions of themselves, each of whom looks completely different.
As expected of a fairy tale, it doesn't need to follow logic, physics, or cultivation!
"Um, I'd like to ask you, since you are the same person, is there any telepathy between you?"
"You've finally asked a more insightful question. In fact, we are already very independent individuals, and there is no such thing as telepathy between us."
"Oh, I see! So, what about Snow White?"
The dwarves were immediately overcome with sadness.
They also seemed to desperately need someone to confide in.
"Snow White is the most beautiful person in the world."
"One day, she came to our house just like you, and in the end, she stayed."
"However, she died later, and we couldn't bring ourselves to save her, but we couldn't bear to bury her underground."
"So we placed her in a crystal glass coffin, and one of us watched over her every day."
"But later, we still lost her."
"You should ask the fifth brother. He was supposed to be the one guarding Snow White's crystal coffin that day."
"But he chose to entrust Snow White to a stranger who had come from afar."
"He even allowed Snow White to follow him back to his castle."
