Tang Xinyou looked at Linghu Lan and was startled. She hadn't forgotten that her front tooth had been ruined by Linghu Lan. She quickly pulled her mother towards the door.
Linghu Lan's voice reached her ears calmly. "Tang Xinyou, there won't be a next time. Keep an eye on your mother. Don't think the whole world is a place where you can run wild."
Tang Xinyou bit her lip, glared at Linghu Lan resentfully, and quickly pulled her mother away.
The door slammed shut with a "bang!"
Lan's mother was so angry that her face turned ashen; they were truly an oddball parent-child pair.

This time, a problem arose.
The superpowered individual who had been moving with unpredictable skill suddenly found himself unable to jump. The speed-type superpowered individual fared even worse, plummeting from the sky and grimacing in pain. The superpowered individual with exceptional fire control found his flame extinguished instantly, and no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't get it to reappear.
To everyone's surprise, the superpowers of the superhumans who were in the same room as her suddenly stopped working.
Everyone stopped and stared at Linghu Lan with strange expressions.

The people being tested, although they knew they would be assisting with the testing today, only thought they would see someone with a superpower similar to their own.
