Linghu Lan stood there silently.
A thunderstorm talisman was stuck to his finger, ready to be launched at any moment.
The ghost alley seemed to know how powerful Linghu Lan was, and apart from silently following Linghu Lan's gaze, it made no other move.
Suddenly, Linghu Lan felt a gust of wind behind her.
She quickly dodged to the side, her fingers slightly bent, and the thunderstorm talisman accurately struck the newcomer.
Linghu Lan looked closely and saw that it was Luo Ran'er.
Luo Ran'er stood tall at the alley entrance, knife in one hand, looking energetic and dashing, hardly like a mental patient. She frowned as she looked at the ghost wall and said coldly, "Is this a ghost you created?"
"???"
Linghu Lan smiled. "No, didn't you do it?"
"The thief is crying 'stop thief!'" Luo Ran'er frowned slightly, her cold eyes darting around as she looked at Linghu Lan and said coldly, "Besides you, no one else would bother with these kinds of shady things."
Why are you making all this weird stuff?
Linghu Lan had a strong feeling that there was a lot of information here. Just as she was about to ask for more details, dark clouds rolled in from the sky, and it looked like lightning was coming and would strike in less than ten seconds.
Linghu Lan smiled. "Luo Ran'er, you have to be reasonable when you do things, or you'll get struck by lightning!"
Luo Ran'er also looked up at the sky. The dark clouds were thick and moving rapidly, with occasional sparks of lightning flashing within them, creating a rather frightening sight. However, she had always acted with integrity and was not afraid of being struck by lightning. "You know my name, you've investigated me? Hmph! If lightning were to strike someone, it would strike a ghost like you."
Ghosts?
"Luo Ran'er, there are all sorts of things in this world that you don't know. Don't call others ghosts so casually. It's very impolite. Why did you kill me?"
Luo Ran'er glanced at Linghu Lan with disdain. Before she could answer, a bolt of lightning fell from the sky and struck Luo Ran'er with perfect accuracy.
Luo Ran'er screamed in agony, feeling as if her internal organs were about to be set on fire.
Fortunately, Linghu Lan's lightning strikes varied in effectiveness depending on the person, otherwise Luo Ran'er would have been killed long ago. Even so, Luo Ran'er was charred and burned inside.
She stared at Linghu Lan in disbelief, remembering her earlier comment that lightning would strike a ghost like Linghu Lan, only to be struck by lightning instead. Feeling both embarrassed and angry, she glared coldly at Linghu Lan. "Did you do this?"
Linghu Lan didn't answer, but frowned. She had thought that the lightning bolt would shatter this ghost wall, but it didn't.
The illusion of being trapped in a maze only flashed briefly before it remained firmly in place.
This means that the person controlling the ghost wall is definitely not Luo Ran'er, but a very powerful being. Could it be Chunyu Xunfeng?
Linghu Lan seemed lost in thought, but Luo Ran'er perceived this as him ignoring her.
She glared at Linghu Lan with resentment, snorted coldly, and struggled to stand up, trying to leave this place of trouble as soon as she got up. But she fell heavily to the ground again and spat out a mouthful of blood.
Linghu Lan snapped out of her daze, walked towards Luo Ran'er, and slowly said, "Yesterday you stabbed me in the back, today I blasted you with lightning, so we're temporarily even. I'll ask you one more time, why did you kill me? Why did you call me a ghost?"
"Did you cause the lightning?" Luo Ran'er tried to sit up, making herself look presentable. Although she asked this question, she still couldn't quite believe it.
