This was a happy thing for the Three-Eyed Giants, but a sad thing for all of humanity.
After being devoured by those little black insects, the number of humans has decreased significantly. Those who remain are the elite, or rather, the fatter sheep kept in captivity by the Three-Eyed Giants. Thinking of this, my heart feels inexplicably heavy.
After the rainbow light, everyone discovered that their superpowers had been enhanced again. This enhancement did not mean that the superpowers had increased, but rather that the superpowers had been greatly improved in terms of strength, power, accuracy, and other aspects.
Linghu Lan became even more certain that the rainbow spewed from the three-eyed giant's mouth and the black insects released were also a simple selection process. This process was simple and brutal: the strong survive and the weak are eliminated. But it was these weaklings who nourished the three-eyed giant, making him even stronger.
However, Linghu Lan believes that everything in this world follows the law of conservation of energy. The fact that the Three-Eyed Giant sprayed out rainbows and harvested lives shows that there is at least some fairness in this game. Since there is fairness, they have a chance to win.
Having figured this out, everyone regained their confidence and resolutely continued to grind the dungeon.
After completing more than thirty dungeons, Linghu Lan discovered a pattern: the dungeons they had run were arranged in a concentric circle.
They were brushing inwards, layer by layer, along the outer edge of this concentric circle. Linghu Lan was very curious about what was in the innermost circle. Could it be the final villain, the Three-Eyed Giant? She was looking forward to that day.
She had also considered having the guinea pigs find the location of the Three-Eyed Giant directly, and taking advantage of the three years before humans became so powerful, to kill and destroy it.
But the guinea pig remained unmoved, simply following its instincts to find the next copy.
Linghu Lan finally understood that the opening of dungeons actually follows a pattern. The next dungeon will not open until the previous one is completed. This means that they must clear the dungeons one by one, and there is no way to cheat or take shortcuts.
Since we're destined to run the dungeon, let's send more people to do it!
So, Tantai Yu dispersed the other people who had been playing dungeons with him, and had them lead teams and mentor newcomers. After mentoring the newcomers, they would then send other newcomers out to play dungeons together.
Those sparks that had been nurtured for so long quickly ignited into a prairie fire.
Linghu Lan and Tantai Yu successfully completed another round of dungeons.
When Linghu Lan cleared the fiftieth dungeon, she unexpectedly ran into a group of old acquaintances: Zhao Xuanyi, Dong Ge, Lao Ba, and Lao Jiu.
These people were the ones Linghu Lan tried to trick into entering the first dungeon after she came to this world. In that dungeon, she met a little girl named A Lai. A Lai would slowly grow old as the game progressed. Linghu Lan discovered this and managed to tie the score for more than fifty rounds, eventually wearing A Lai down.
Linghu Lan saw them, and they naturally saw Linghu Lan as well.
Everyone already knew Tantai Yu's identity and that Linghu Lan was the future imperial concubine. Dong Ge and the others still held the royal family in awe and knew what Tantai Yu had been doing in his royal capacity. Now, seeing him in person, they were still a little embarrassed. They remembered that the person they had tricked last time was actually the Seventh Prince, and they felt terrible.
