As soon as Feng Qifan finished speaking, he felt stupid. She had suddenly become so small, where would she get spare clothes? But he only had his own clothes at home. Was he supposed to make a set for Han Lingxi? Thinking of the image of him holding a needle and making clothes, Feng Qifan said that he really couldn't do it.
"Uh, go check at the supermarket."
Han Lingxi thought for a moment and then said.
"supermarket?"
Feng Qifan repeated in confusion, "Is my world too narrow? Could there be many such miniature people in this world, and even supermarkets that sell clothes for miniature people?"
"Yes, you should look for small Barbie dolls; their clothes should be similar."
Han Lingxi said with some annoyance, "What kind of life is this? I eat with bottle caps, take a bath with a soap dish, and even have to wear Barbie doll clothes."
"Okay, I'll be right there. Don't stay in the water for too long. Cover yourself with a towel so you don't catch a cold."
Feng Qifan breathed a sigh of relief, realizing he had been overthinking things. He then planned to go to the supermarket to buy clothes for Han Lingxi, reminding her not to get sick. In her current state, how could she take medicine if she got sick? The pills were so big, and taking too many would be poisonous.
"Okay, I understand."
Only after hearing Han Lingxi's voice did Feng Qifan feel relieved enough to go out.
Han Lingxi came out of the soap box, then dried herself with the towel Feng Qifan had left outside, and then wrapped herself up tightly like a blanket.
Feng Qifan arrived at the supermarket and asked the sales assistant. He successfully found the place that sold Barbie dolls. Looking at the dazzling array of clothes, he realized that Han Lingxi hadn't lied to him. However, when he saw the Barbie dolls, Feng Qifan pouted. They were too ugly and had no comparison to Han Lingxi's exquisite appearance.
Han Lingxi: Are you sure these two things can be compared? Are you insulting me?
Feng Qifan picked up any clothes that looked similar and found that there was a wide variety of clothes available, including pajamas and bathrobes. After picking out most of them, Feng Qifan felt like he had discovered a new continent. There were also small wardrobes, beds, tables, chairs, and even combs. Feng Qifan, of course, bought one of everything without hesitation.
"He bought it to please his daughter. What a good father."
When Feng Qifan paid the bill, the cashier said that Feng Qifan just smiled gently and didn't say anything.
He seems to have forgotten to bring a Barbie doll to cover his tracks, so he could have said it was a gift for a colleague's child. Being told he was Han Lingxi's father and not being able to refute it was truly infuriating.
When Feng Qifan got home, he knocked on the bathroom door and asked.
"I've bought the clothes, may I come in?"
"Okay, come in."
Han Lingxi looked at herself and saw that she was well covered up and there was nothing showing before answering, "Actually, there's nothing to see."
When Feng Qifan went in, he saw Han Lingxi with only her head sticking out from among a pile of towels. He took out her pajamas and placed them next to her, then took out other clothes for her to see and asked if they were okay.
"Rough".
Han Lingxi pouted, her expression full of disdain.
"These are all clothes made of toys, what do you expect to be more elaborate?"
Feng Qifan knew that Han Lingxi's behavior meant she could accept it and was just complaining, so he explained.
While Han Lingxi was getting dressed, Feng Qifan replaced the bottle caps and erasers on the dining table with the small table and chairs he had bought, and then put the bed and wardrobe on the bed in the guest room.
When he came out, he found Han Lingxi calling him at the top of her lungs; she probably had changed her clothes and was about to go to sleep.
