Han Lingxi walked up to Song Zhiyu and spoke loudly on purpose, but she didn't even glance at Song Zhiyu, as if she didn't see her at all.

"I won't eat."
Han Lingxi turned her head away and ignored him.
"Xi'er, it's my fault. I didn't protect you well. You can punish me however you want."
Gu Jingchen walked to the other side of the bed so that Han Lingxi could see him.
"snort."
Han Lingxi turned her head to the other side again.
"Xi'er".
Gu Jingchen tugged at Han Lingxi's clothes and said coquettishly.
"Xi'er".
Han Lingxi still turned her head away from him, trying hard to suppress her laughter.
"Xi'er".
Gu Jingchen called out again, her voice incredibly alluring.
Han Lingxi finally couldn't hold back any longer and turned to glare at him.
"Are you even a man?"
"Well, you can try it yourself, Xi'er."
"rogue."
Han Lingxi cursed, truly frightened by his shamelessness.
"Xiaoxi, what's wrong?"
Han's mother rushed into the ward and was heartbroken when she saw Han Lingxi's arm wrapped in bandages.
"Mom, don't cry. It's just a minor burn, it's not serious at all."
Han Lingxi looked at her mother, unsure how to comfort her.
"It's already like this and it's not serious? I told you we shouldn't have gone to that company. You just ran into bad luck as soon as you went out."
Han's mother was speaking to Han Lingxi, but her eyes were fixed on Gu Jingchen with a fierce look.
"Mom, your hostility is too obvious," Han Lingxi said, speechless.
"Aunt Han, I'm sorry, it's my fault for not taking good care of Xi'er."
Gu Jingchen bowed to Han's mother and apologized.
"Hmph, our Xiaoxi doesn't need your care," Han's mother said coldly, then turned to Han Lingxi and asked her about her well-being.
