Chapter 217 The Vampire Prince's Ex-Girlfriend (12)

After Roy finished speaking, he carried Han Lingxi and strode towards the bedroom, unaware that Sharon's eyes were full of malice as she watched their backs.

When Han Lingxi woke up, she looked around in a daze. The simple and modern style made her think that she had traveled through time again.

"Are you awake?"

Turning to look at Roy beside her, Roy came in from outside with a wine glass in his hand. Seeing that Han Lingxi was awake, he casually put the glass on the table. The wine glass was filled with bright red blood, and the tempting color made Han Lingxi feel very hungry.

Roy sat on the edge of the bed and gently helped Han Lingxi up, letting her lean against him. Han Lingxi shifted uncomfortably, feeling that the action was too intimate. Although it wasn't unusual for her and her lover to do such things, in this world, she and Roy had no relationship, making it all the more awkward.

Roy seemed oblivious to Han Lingxi's discomfort, and naturally picked up the cup he had just put down and fed it to her.

"I, I can do it myself."

Han Lingxi protested softly, her voice a little hoarse. Roy did not object and readily placed the wine glass in Han Lingxi's hand. Han Lingxi took it but could not hold it tightly, and the wine glass fell from her hand. Roy caught it quickly, and not a drop of blood in the glass spilled out.

"Let me do it."

Roy spoke as if he was the one compromising, but in fact he already knew that Han Lingxi was very weak and not even as strong as an ordinary person, so he let Han Lingxi try it herself and then she would not have any objections to his arrangement.

Han Lingxi was genuinely unaware of her weakness. She looked at her hands in surprise. Vampires should be very powerful, so how could she not even hold a cup?

"Excessive blood loss forced him into hibernation. The silver weapon remained in his body for too long. It's a miracle he survived."

Roy seemed to notice Han Lingxi's confusion and explained, while bringing the cup to Han Lingxi's lips with practiced ease. Han Lingxi obediently opened her mouth and drank it, feeling much better, as if her energy had been replenished.

Han Lingxi recalled what happened that night, and wondered how it was handled afterward. She was sure her father, Prince Vantro, wouldn't let it go so easily. Three vampire hunters had been lost, including an elder, and he wouldn't just let it go like that.

"Uh, how long has it been?"

Han Lingxi asked Luo Yi, her voice still hoarse. The strange sound made her frown. She couldn't tell how long she had been asleep, so she could only ask Luo Yi.

"It's been a week, and the recovery is going very well."

Seeing her frown, Roy comforted her, essentially telling her that her voice would return soon. Han Lingxi's brows furrowed even more. She had been unconscious for a week; why was she still at Roy's house? Shouldn't Prince Van Zhuo have taken her back?

Does my father know I'm here?

Han Lingxi tentatively asked, "Roy wouldn't have forgotten to inform Prince Vandro about the attack, would he?"

"Yes, I told them."

Roy answered affirmatively, his face sincere. What he said was indeed true, but he concealed some of the facts. He only told the Vantro family that Lingxi would be staying at his manor for a while, but he did not say that Lingxi was staying at his manor because she was seriously injured in an attack by a vampire hunter.

When will I recover?

Han Lingxi touched the scar on her face and winced in pain.
