Chapter 126

After entering the inner room, Yin Qingyi lay down on the bed. She thought she would be thinking about all sorts of random things and wouldn't be able to sleep, but her eyelids soon began to droop. Perhaps it was because the fight between the fairies before lunch had exhausted her energy, which is why she fell asleep so quickly.

Half an hour later, Granny Qi quietly came in to check on Yin Qingyi. Seeing that she was asleep, she didn't make a sound to disturb her and quietly left.

If you were to ask who was the happiest person in the Prince's mansion today, it would undoubtedly be Lady Li of Luoying Courtyard. If the occasion weren't so inappropriate, Lady Li would have ordered the servants to set off firecrackers to celebrate.

The Fujin was confined to her quarters without a specified time, meaning she would remain so as long as the master didn't say anything. How could Li not be happy? She had been fighting with the Fujin for over a decade and had never seen her so miserable. This Yin was truly formidable.

But that's all there is to it; even the master couldn't be kept here. The news of Yinzhen storming out of Luoxue Pavilion spread quickly throughout the backyard. Although everyone was discussing it, they remained cautiously observant, knowing that the last time the master had left in a huff, he had returned in a hurry shortly afterward. Who knew if he would do the same this time? They would have to wait at least ten days to two weeks to see.

"This concubine is truly capable. She seduced the master as soon as she returned and even took away the master's power in managing the household!" Lady Fucha twisted the silk handkerchief in her hand, her eyes filled with jealousy as she looked in the direction of Luoxue Pavilion. She and Lady Niohuru were newcomers to the household, and the master would probably arrive tomorrow. She wondered whether he would come to her place or Lady Niohuru's. It would probably be hers, after all, with Lady Niohuru's appearance, what man would be interested?

"Princess, please be careful with your words." The maidservant beside Lady Fucha frowned slightly. How could this Princess Fucha be so ill-mannered? Is it something she can just casually refer to as a concubine?

Lady Fucha glanced at the maid with displeasure. She was extremely dissatisfied with this maid, but since she had just arrived, she couldn't just dismiss the maid immediately, so she had no choice but to reluctantly keep her.

Meanwhile, in the Yuhua Pavilion next to the Orchid Courtyard, Niohuru showed no reaction and continued to quietly embroider the painting in her hands.

But was Niohuru truly as calm as she appeared? Of course not. However, knowing that her appearance wasn't the pleasing type, Niohuru tried her best to cultivate a gentle and quiet persona.

As for other plans, Niohuru looked up out the window, gently stroking her lower abdomen. She thought, "I'll at least have a child before I start anything else."

Lady Song also returned today, two hours later than Yinzhen. After all, Yinzhen had ridden back at full speed with His Majesty, while the women of the household lagged behind, carrying a lot of things, so they naturally couldn't arrive as quickly.

Madam Song hadn't expected so much trouble to erupt in the inner courtyard upon her return, but she was already indifferent to it all. She thought back to the past few months; although the master had visited her room, he had never made love to her. Madam Song felt bitter. She knew that the loss of her two children had displeased the master, who felt she was infertile and therefore avoided her. But she was only under thirty; she longed for a child of her own. Unfortunately, after this trip, she knew she would never have a child of her own. So what did the strife and infighting in the inner courtyard have to do with her?

Unbeknownst to Madam Song, Yinzhen had not only avoided touching her for the past few months, but also his two concubines. Had Madam Song known, she might not have been so distressed.

Yin Qingyi was woken up by the three little ones. Looking at the three teary-eyed little ones in front of her, Yin Qingyi was both amused and exasperated. Before Yinzhen returned, she would play with the three little ones for a long time every day. Today, Yinzhen suddenly returned, and the three little ones were forcibly taken away before they could play with her for long. They didn't see Yin Qingyi in the afternoon, so they started making a fuss and no one could comfort them. Even when they saw Yin Qingyi, they were still sobbing, looking quite pitiful.

"Oh dear, did my little darlings miss their mother?" Yin Qingyi kissed each of the three little ones before getting up, dressing herself, and leading them out of the inner room to the outer room. She had a carpet laid out and then signaled to the three wet nurses to put the three children down.

The three little ones were immediately delighted as soon as they got on the carpet, giggling and laughing.

"Come on, let's see who rolls over first. Whoever does first, Mommy will hug them first." Yin Qingyi sat a step away from the children, stretching out her hands to tempt the three little ones.

The three little ones couldn't understand much of what Yin Qingyi was saying, but they could understand her gestures. They immediately started to move with all their might, their little faces turning red, but they didn't cry. They were still trying to find a way to get to Yin Qingyi's side.

Yue'er, who had rolled over in the morning, was now lying on her stomach instead of lying down. She was gripping the carpet tightly with her two little hands and kicking her legs hard behind her. Every time she almost rolled over, she would roll back halfway and end up lying on her stomach again. The little one was so angry that her cries could almost break the silence of the room.

Finally, after countless attempts, Xiao Yue'er successfully rolled over and came to her dear mother's side.

"Oh my, our little Yue'er is so wonderful! Mommy gives her a kiss!" Yin Qingyi picked up her daughter and showered her with kisses; she was just too adorable.

"Ya ya, uh, uh." Little Yue'er was also happy, waving her little hands and feet vigorously in Yin Qingyi's arms. If Yin Qingyi hadn't been prepared, she probably would have made the little one fall off on the first try.

"Yue'er, are you calling for your mother? Granny, listen, is Yue'er calling for her mother?" Yin Qingyi was a little uncertain after hearing Yue'er's inaccurate pronunciation, so she turned to ask Granny behind her.

"This old servant didn't hear clearly either." Granny Qi shook her head, feeling that it probably wasn't true, but she didn't say anything. Seeing her master so happy, she didn't want to disturb her.

"Yue'er, call her name again." Yin Qingyi turned to look at her daughter and coaxed her gently.

"Ouch, spit!" Unfortunately, the little one's attention wasn't on Yin Qingyi at the moment, but rather on her two older brothers who were still struggling to roll over. Pointing at her brothers who hadn't yet managed to roll over, the little one laughed happily, as if mocking them. That spit sounded more like an insult to her two brothers, calling them stupid.

"Etubu, Burha, your sister is making fun of you. Hahahaha." Yin Qingyi's attention was diverted when she saw this. Looking at her two sons who were still trying, the two little rascals had only just gotten down and it would probably be a long time before they could roll over.

"Ah!" Ertub seemed to understand, and his hands slapped the carpet.

"Are you still angry?" Yin Qingyi looked at her eldest son with amusement.

"Ah!" Bulha watched from the side, and somehow managed to use the right force, shouting as he flipped over.
