Cheng Ji sat opposite him on the sofa.
"Hmm?" Jiang Fei responded softly, the murmur from her nose carrying a hint of languor, her undisguised eyes revealing a seductive allure between their opening and closing.
High above, yet with a hint of pity.
But in an instant, she regained her composure, looking at him with hazy eyes, her voice hoarse: "You're back?"
Cheng Ji was stunned. When she first woke up, she was so dazzling that no one could take their eyes off her.
His hand instinctively reached for a cigarette, but he stopped when he saw her, tossed the cigarette aside, and stared at the steamed egg custard in front of him with a furrowed brow.
"Didn't you say you weren't coming back?" Jiang Fei sat up and asked softly.
Cheng Ji glanced at her, his gaze lingering on her collarbone for a moment, then lowered his eyes and said, "I'm hungry."
"Oh," Jiang Fei responded obediently, but the next second her confused eyes finally cleared up, and she scolded in a low voice, "Why did you wake me up if you were hungry?"
Cheng Ji paused for a moment, then suddenly burst into unrestrained laughter: "Watch me eat."
