Chapter 1 1. Wealth
"Ms. Jin, if there are no problems, please sign these documents."
Jin Qianqian didn't come back to her senses for a long time. It was only after repeated reminders from her lawyer and manager that she mechanically picked up the pen provided by the other party and quickly completed the final procedures.
After everyone left, Jin Qianqian stared at the documents on the desk.
It was only today that she found out that she actually had an aunt who lived alone in a corner of a foreign country. The two had never met each other, but she had left her such a huge fortune.
It’s a pity that I only just learned about the existence of such a relative but never even met him.
What puzzled her the most was the wooden box in front of her. After listening to what the lawyer had just said, she knew that it was left by the ancestors of the Mi family (her grandmother's family). Now she was the only descendant of the Mi family, and the will had specifically instructed her to preserve it well and pass it on.
Such a gray wooden box feels light in the hand. Maybe even a piece of bamboo picked up from outside is heavier than it.
No wonder the lawyer and the manager just now didn't take this heirloom seriously and just brushed it off with a few words, while they described the shares and real estate very clearly.
I've heard of fingerprint locks, chip locks, and password locks, but I've never heard of using blood to unlock them.
I guess everyone thought the same thing, thinking that this old lady just read too many novels and ended up doing such a little farce to tease the younger generation.
Looking at the circle in the center of the wooden box, Jin Qianqian pursed her lips, and finally mustered up the courage to take out the spare sewing needle from the drawer.
Looking at the needle tip flashing with white light, Jin Qianqian did not forget to disinfect it with iodine before inserting the needle with her eyes closed.
I squeezed out two small drops of blood, but they only covered a small half of the small circle.
She hardened her heart, gritted her teeth and stabbed twice more. This time the blood drop was finally a little bigger and slowly filled up the small circle.
Looking at the wooden box that showed no reaction at all, Jin Qianqian couldn't help but laugh at herself. This aunt must have read too many fantasy novels and was just making fun of herself.
And as an atheist, she actually believed it.
Standing at the bay window and looking at the hustle and bustle of traffic below, I realized that my fate has been quite bumpy. I had just graduated from high school and was happily going on a relaxing trip with a group of classmates. But my grandfather suddenly passed away due to a cerebral infarction, and my parents who went back to attend the funeral encountered a plane crash. A good family fell apart just like that.
The successive bad news almost made her collapse. Fortunately, her relatives and friends were reliable and taught her how to handle the funeral in an orderly manner.
During this period, she took a year off from school. She finally got over the pain and gritted her teeth to complete her four-year study.
I stayed in this house left by my parents and endured one lonely holiday after another.
Jin Qianqian stroked her arm, and her eyes, which had not been moist for a long time, became misty again.
She had no idea that the small wooden box she had casually thrown on the table was flashing a faint white light, and the light was getting dimmer and dimmer.
Kaz, when Jin Qianqian heard the voice, she looked back. She was the only one in the house, so where did the noise come from?
With a quick glance, I found that the small wooden box on the table seemed a little different.
She didn't dare to touch it, so she bent down and looked at it carefully, then picked up the fruit knife on the table and opened the box that was already a little split.
An antique ring appeared in front of her as the lid of the box opened. Looking at the strange flower vines on it, Qian Qianqian wondered, are there such flower vines in the world?
It doesn't make sense to have so many colors of leaves on one vine.
By the time she reacted, the ring was already in her hand, and blood was flowing out of the needle hole towards the ring.
Looking at this fantastic scene, Jin Qianqian panicked and wanted to throw off the ring on her hand, but the ring seemed to be stuck to her hand and no matter how she moved, it could tightly stick to her finger.
The color on the ring became brighter and brighter, and it flashed a faint light. Before she could figure out what was happening, the ring turned into a ray of light and went straight into her brow.
Jin Qianqian touched her empty forehead and quickly ran to the bathroom. There was no scar on her smooth forehead.
He covered his violently beating chest with his hands shaking.
"No way? It's really hell."
Thinking of the immortal cultivation and demon-eliminating novels that have been popular in recent years, Jin Qianqian's first reaction was to speculate about possession of other bodies, ghosts, and the like.
"Who are you? Don't scare me. What aunt? It's all a conspiracy!"
Jin Qianqian was shouting from afar, but the whole house was silent except for her voice.
It took her a long time to calm down. She quickly poured herself a glass of warm water and slowly calmed down.
Where did the ring go? As soon as Jin Qianqian began to wonder, she found herself in an empty circular hall surrounded by doors of various colors.
Looking at these familiar colors, Jin Qianqian had some guesses in her mind.
"No way? I have such good luck?" She looked around and muttered softly, "But what is this door over here?"
Jin Qianqian still didn't have the courage to push open those doors, and just wanted to go out. When she opened her eyes again, the person had already appeared in the living room of her house.
She curiously grabbed the cup of water in her hand, thinking silently about going in, and the person and the cup of water appeared in the same hall again.
"Is this the legendary space?" Jin Qianqian collapsed directly in the hall, stroking the white jade on the ground. She was even more stunned as she saw that there were no seams and it was a whole piece without any splicing.
It was so luxurious that if it weren't for the cold and smooth touch, she would have thought it was an illusion.
He bit the back of his hand hard, "This is true."
In, out, out and in again, Jin Qianqian played for most of the day and finally turned her eyes to those doors.
Red, green, blue, black, white and purple, six doors of different colors stood there, forming a circle around the forty or fifty square meter wide hall.
These doors are all antique, especially the door nails, which are extremely harmonious with the colors.
With a hint of curiosity rising in her heart, Jin Qianqian stood up, turned around on the spot, and finally chose her favorite color purple.
Holding the door knocker, no matter whether she pushed inward or pulled outward, the door did not move at all.
She didn't believe it, so she tried white, black, blue and green in order, until the last red one, which slowly opened under her pushing.
Jin Qianqian was startled instead. She let go of the door knocker and took two steps back. After waiting for a long time without any movement, she carefully stuck her head in.
