"Don't even think about it!" Su Wan said through gritted teeth, a resolute glint in her eyes.
Just then, a hidden arrow suddenly shot towards Yan Yu'an. He dodged to the side, but found that more arrows were coming at him.
Yan Yu'an was furious: "You're asking for death!"
He flipped over on the spot, his sword pointing directly at Su Wan's brow.
Su Wan swore, which was completely out of character for her appearance.
The rain of arrows stopped.
Su Wan surrendered without resistance.
Yan Yu'an gave the instructions.
"Send her to the capital and hand her over to the Ministry of Justice to investigate her background." Yan Yu'an selected four men whose martial arts skills were sufficient to escort Su Wan to the capital.
Su Wan was shocked: "Young Master Yan, what do you mean by this?"
Once you're in the Ministry of Justice, you're unlikely to come out alive.
Yan Yu'an said coldly, "For Miss Su's safety, I will send someone to escort you to the capital. You will be well taken care of there."
In this desolate wilderness, Su Wan, a young lady from a wealthy family, was actually escorting a merchant caravan.
They can't even find a reliable person to act in this?
It seems that Su Wan's identity is questionable.
Yan Yu'an's first thought was that she was a spy from the enemy country.
Su Wan's plan was seen through before it could even be implemented.
She sneered, "I didn't expect that after not seeing you for several years, Young Master Yan has become much more vigilant."
Yan Yu'an sneered: "It's you who's gotten dumber."
"You're asking for it!" Su Wan suddenly leaped into the air and grabbed at Yan Yu'an's neck.
Before she could even take flight, four skilled soldiers had already knocked her to the ground.
"Who are you? How dare you treat me so rudely!" Su Wan glared at the four men.
“Miss, can’t you see the situation? You’re a prisoner,” one of them said.
"If you're so capable, take me to the Northwest," Su Wan said.
"No need for nonsense, you think we'll listen to you? Let's go!" He lifted Su Wan up like a chick.
Su Wan's face turned extremely ugly. She never imagined that her plan had been seen through by someone else long ago.
"Take her away." Yan Yu'an waved his hand, signaling his men to take Su Wan away.
"Wait, I have something else to say," Su Wan called out.
"Let's talk about it when we get to the capital," Yan Yu'an replied coldly.
Su Wan was taken away, and Yan Yu'an watched her departing figure, lost in thought.
The bandits screamed and howled as they were beaten. Looking at the man lying on the ground, Yan Yu'an coldly said, "Kill them without mercy!"
The bandits were terrified. "You can't kill us?"
"Why?" Yan Yu'an asked.
