The Prince of Yu finally got rid of a jinx.
After being betrothed, Yao Ruolan never dared to provoke him again.
These past few days, Lin Muheng has been particularly clingy, and Jiang Chuwei is almost at her wit's end.
"Go do your work, don't always stay at home, okay?" Jiang Chuwei started to shoo her away.
There's no day or night, how could she stand it?
Lin Muheng looked aggrieved and asked, "Doesn't Wei'er want to be with me?" He then deliberately showed off a bit of his chest muscles.
Jiang Chuwei looked at him and said, "Just keep acting."
Seeing that she remained unmoved, Lin Muheng knew that his charm was useless.
“I don’t need to be on duty.” He tugged at her sleeve.
"Go ahead, Su Wan's case isn't closed yet, and Father won't want you to stay home with me every day." Jiang Chuwei had no choice but to bring up the Emperor.
He just didn't expect that bringing up the emperor would give Lin Muheng even more excuses not to go. "He wants to stuff some beauties in my backyard, so why would he care whether I do my job or not?"
Jiang Chuwei hadn't expected that the prince could come up with so many excuses when he was being unreasonable.
"I'm fine," Jiang Chuwei said.
"Aren't you angry?"
"It's not like you wanted to take a concubine, why should I be angry with you?" Jiang Chuwei couldn't understand why Lin Muheng was so upset about it. She hadn't done anything wrong.
Lin Muheng looked at Jiang Chuwei. It seemed that she really didn't take this matter to heart. He felt a little happy and a little disappointed.
He was pleased that the princess trusted him.
What's disappointing is that when he heard he wanted to take a concubine, the princess didn't react at all. Wasn't she jealous?
Lin Muheng stayed in the Prince's residence and refused to leave because he was worried that the Princess Consort would feel uncomfortable.
However, the princess acted as if nothing had happened.
Not caring means not taking him to heart.
Seeing Lin Muheng's dejected look, Jiang Chuwei said, "I don't care because I know you only have me in your heart, and I have never doubted that."
Lin Muheng's eyes lit up.
He hugged Jiang Chuwei tightly, saying, "I knew it, Wei'er wouldn't misunderstand me."
Jiang Chuwei gently pushed him, "Let go of me first."
Lin Muheng hugged her even tighter. "I won't let go. If I do, Wei'er will run away."
"When did I run away?" Jiang Chuwei asked helplessly.
"I spend every day with you, but you always seem reluctant and even try to send me away," Lin Muheng muttered under his breath.
"Isn't that because you're always pestering me? What man would pester his wife to skip his shift?" Jiang Chuwei glared at him.
"Hehe, it's because I like you." Lin Muheng laughed.
Jiang Chuwei's heart softened. "Your Highness, I like you too."
After saying that, she gently kissed his lips.
Lin Muheng suddenly picked up Jiang Chuwei and spun her around a few times.
To be honest, the princess is truly skilled at comforting people.
"Put me down." Jiang Chuwei was startled; this grown man was still acting like a child.
The maids tried their best to suppress their laughter.
In front of the princess, the prince is just like a child, showing none of his usual cold and aloof demeanor.
Jiang Chuwei leaned on Lin Muheng's shoulder, feeling dizzy.
The two of them remained pressed tightly together like that.
Time seemed to stand still.
Jiang Chuwei raised her head: "Your Highness! I am very happy to have married you!"
Lin Muheng's heart stirred. "Wei'er, you must believe that from now on, you will always be the only one by my side. You must believe me."
He absolutely could not let the princess misunderstand, not even in the slightest.
Jiang Chuwei, "Mmm."
"We will always be happy."
"Um!"
"Wei'er, shall we have a daughter? A daughter as beautiful as you," Lin Muheng whispered in her ear, his warm breath sending shivers down her spine.
"Um!"
"Then have one right away."
Lin Muheng picked up his wife and carried her in his arms.
Jiang Chuwei: Here we go again!
......
Jiang Chuwei kicked Lin Muheng off the bed.
How can he be so good at this!
I just can't take it anymore.
The moment Jiang Chuwei lifted her leg, Lin Muheng pretended to roll down.
"Madam, please don't hurt your stomach. Our daughter is sleeping inside."
Jiang Chuwei sighed, "How can a person have two completely different faces!"
Let his men see her like this, and see how she...

Grand Tutor's Mansion
Yao Ruolan has been making a scene for three days.
"Father! How can you disregard your daughter's life? I'm to marry a prince, not the Fourth Prince! The Fourth Prince is so ugly, how could he be worthy of me?"
Yao Ruolan tugged at her father's sleeve, her eyes swollen from crying.
Grand Tutor Yao scolded, "Lan'er, watch your words!"
Grand Tutor Yao really had no way to deal with this daughter.
It's a bad habit I developed from spoiling myself; I'm too willful.
If these words were to reach the Emperor's ears, he would surely confiscate the Grand Tutor's residence.
How could a prince be unworthy of his daughter?
Besides, the imperial decree has already been issued, so there's no use in the daughter making a fuss.
However, Grand Tutor Yao felt sorry for his daughter.
The fourth prince was merely the son of an insignificant beauty, and he had no support from his maternal family.
He was always invisible to the emperor.
To put it bluntly, he would only be able to sit on that throne if all of the emperor's sons had died.
Grand Tutor Yao was also frustrated.
Just because he went to ask for a marriage decree for his daughter, he aroused the emperor's suspicion.
He was filled with remorse and wished he could turn back time to the day before he asked for a marriage proposal.
How could he have lost his mind like that!
Knowing full well that the emperor was now wary of Prince Yu and Prince Jin, they still eagerly offered him leverage.
