124 A Feast of a Hundred Devious Tales (18)

124 A Feast of a Hundred Devious Tales (18)

I didn't commit a foul.

The moonlight was bright and dazzling, and the roses were in full bloom, pure white.

After the flesh rotted, flowers bloomed all over the bones. Xie Yunhuai never knew that he was such an easy-to-coax cunning devil.

One leaned in, the other embraced, and a cruel yet tender word was spoken.

And so all the chaotic and frantic babbling stopped abruptly in that instant. Qin Fu'an held the little cloud in his arms, unable to hear the hollow heartbeat in his bones, nor could he hear those complicated inner voices.

Only the moonlight poured down, and the wind rustled gently.

Observing all this, Xi Ya suddenly felt that this scene looked so beautiful.

It was so beautiful, it was truly a feast for the eyes.

She and the other players were invited guests; they were not required to have vivid emotions or clear, realistic facial features.

Qin Fu'an, the groom who came to marry his beloved, hid among the guests. Fearing that Xie Yunhuai wouldn't be able to find him, he deliberately didn't cover his green eyes. He was practically handing the answers directly to Xie Yunhuai while he was cheating.

Now, guests are paying their respects, the newlyweds are embracing, and the roses in the field, though not as passionate and dazzling as roses, bloom brilliantly amidst life and death, and are extremely romantic under the moonlight.

She believed what Qin Fu'an had said before.

Qin Fu'an said that Xie Yunhuai is his future other half.

Xie Yunhuai refuted Qin Fu'an as a liar spouting nonsense, but Qin Fu'an said he was not lying.

It wasn't until she was taken away by the system, or rather, expelled from the instance by the castle owner, that Xi Ya suddenly realized: the "person" Qin Fu'an was talking about was herself.

[Congratulations on clearing the current dungeon...]

-

How did you know he was a thief? Was it because of the painting in my room?

Inside the hall, well-trained waiters respectfully laid out a series of exquisite and delicious dinners. Xie Yunhuai rested his chin on one hand, while the other hand fiddled with the half-dead crow on the table in front of him.

Hearing his question, Qin Fu'an withdrew his gaze from the crow and shook his head, saying, "No, it's because of you."

I?

Xie Yunhuai looked up in confusion.

"Rose Castle, roses everywhere, your mark climbing everywhere, little cloud, isn't this the answer already written in the question?"

Xie Yunhuai: "...But I've seen so many people and strange things, and only you answered correctly."

“Yes, so we’re a match made in heaven, a perfect pair.” Qin Fu’an nodded matter-of-factly.

Xie Yunhuai: "..."

After a moment of silence, he finally couldn't hold back and retorted, "I've sent them all away, and you're stuck here. Are you really willing to accept this?"

A second after he finished speaking, he added coldly, "Even if you hate me for this, it doesn't matter. You don't have to force yourself to act with me."

Not counting the memories in his dream, he had only known Qin Fu'an for less than three hours.

I can dream, but Qin Fu'an can't. Humans without those memories must be playing games with me, trying to take advantage of my unpreparedness or my soft heart to find a way to escape the instance.

However, the boy sitting next to him, who had already taken off his mask, raised an eyebrow in surprise upon hearing this.

"I hate you? And I'm just putting on an act with you?"

Qin Fu'an repeated the description of Xiao Yunduo, his eyes filled with amusement. He deliberately put on a thoughtful look as he nervously pursed his lips and remained silent.

Then he said slowly, "So you really are smart, you saw through my disguise at a glance?"

In a single sentence, Xie Yunhuai's fair fingers, which had been fiddling with the crow, clenched tightly. The crow, which had been struggling and panting just moments before, was knocked unconscious by the pain before it could even utter a single caw.

Qin Fu'an suppressed a laugh, continuing to provoke Xiao Yunduo: "What do you want me to do for you to let me go? I have very important things to do before I leave here..."

Xie Yunhuai's fair fingertips were stained with deep red raven blood. His face was as pale as his lips. He unconsciously tensed every nerve in his body, staring intently into Qin Fu'an's eyes, and asked in a deep voice, "Something very important? What is it?"

What is it that made you willing to expose your disguise and anger me just to escape?

He asked the question, and Qin Fu'an answered honestly.

“I need to go back and nurture our token of love. You once said that you would never leave the Ghost Realm and come home with me unless you made that plant grow.”

Xie Yunhuai: "...A token of affection, a promise, or a gift?"

He spoke each word very softly, yet his stunned expression at the answer was exceptionally endearing. Qin Fu'an had been widowed for a thousand years before finally finding his beloved, and to be able to hold back like this was simply not the work of a Teng Snake!

The enormous snake tail instantly filled the entire hall, its tip disdainfully piercing through the crow's body before casually tossing it out the window, blocking the view of all the waiters and viewers in the live stream.

The candlelight was extinguished, the moonlight couldn't penetrate the window, and in the thick fog of darkness, he leaned against the broad back of the chair with a bewildered expression, head bowed, savoring the scene with reverence and care.

Occasionally, a few uncontrollable sobs would escape, but they would be quickly swallowed up, leaving only the rapid, unsteady breathing intertwined together...

Under the moonlight, the roses that covered the entire castle trembled and bloomed, filling the air with a thick, sticky fragrance.

The trembling, curled flower branches and tender leaves seemed to be grasped by an invisible hand, crumpled and then carefully smoothed out. Just when they thought that hand was finally about to leave, it was grasped and crumpled again, so that the slender fingers with distinct joints easily and without explanation became covered with sweet flower juice.

"You said the night is still long and dawn won't break."

In a daze, as she floated and whimpered, her beautiful, clear green eyes had unknowingly turned into vertical pupils, staring intently at the delicious prey beneath her, which had been captured and was no longer able to struggle. The desire hidden deep in her eyes was the burning passion she had endured through countless trials, the unmutated nature of the demon race, and the very essence of a dragon-snake creature.

He has been very restrained and careful.

From the moment Qin Fu'an first saw this face and the soul that this body carried in the first instance, he was already trying his best to restrain himself and making silent plans.

The goal is to entice the prey to willingly bring their slender necks close, allowing the venomous fangs to pierce the skin and inject deadly toxins.

The demon wanted to lure that idiot, so hungry that his souls were devouring each other, closer and closer to the great demon's embrace, until he was tightly bound by the snake's tail, every inch of his skin covered in its scent, again and again...

-

Strange territory.

The little phoenix, suddenly expelled from the Holy City's main hall, flapped its wings in bewilderment.

It didn't take off.

"I'm an orphan now?" The little phoenix stared blankly at the tightly closed palace doors, its small head unable to hold any more wisdom.

Inside the hall, the boy who had hastily thrown the little phoenix out the door kept his eyes tightly shut and gritted his teeth to try his best not to make any more embarrassing or shameful sounds.

But his face was flushed, his eyes were red and brimming with tears, his body was convulsing and trembling, and his fingers could not even grip the armrests of the throne...

"hateful……"

The terms were clearly agreed upon, but that scoundrel Qin Fu'an completely disregarded the rules.

-

"I didn't commit a foul."

Qin Fu'an bit Xiao Yunduo's fair and slender wrist, not wanting to break the skin, but the back and forth rubbing and sucking had already made the skin sensitive, and a large patch of glaring red marks overlapped, all of which became the beautiful marks under his lips.

Ironically, as the one who started it all, he innocently defended himself, saying, "You only said you couldn't come with me, so I stayed this time."
