Chapter 12 Hanging

Qin Sui asked Erniu to take the three children to eat first, while he bought some food and went to the hospital for Grandma Lin and Lin Su.

Lin Su had woken up by now, but was still very weak and naturally couldn't eat.

Grandma Lin couldn't eat either. She held Lin Su's hand with a broken heart. Her eyes were still red and swollen, obviously she had been crying.

Qin Sui tried to persuade her a few times, but Grandma Lin didn't listen.

She also had some opinions about him.

Qin Sui saw something and apologized to Lin Su with pursed lips, "I'm sorry, my mother was wrong in this matter. She has received the same punishment as you. I will compensate you later."

When Lin Su heard that Qin's mother had been punished, she felt a pang of frustration in her heart. After calming down, she slowly said, "I will never go back to your house again."

Qin Sui nodded, "I understand. I will send your dowry back."

After a moment of contemplation, he looked at Grandma Lin and said, "Grandma, I'm afraid we'll have to trouble you for a few nights."

Grandma Lin paused and looked up at him.

Qin Sui explained, "The children and I will stay at your place for a few nights. Once the marriage report comes in and Lin Su feels better, we'll go register our marriage. After that, we'll go directly to the military region."

What he meant was obviously that he would never return to the Qin family.

Qin Sui's behavior also indirectly indicated that he was on their side.

Grandma Lin's anger finally dissipated a little. Qin Sui was concerned about them. She thought for a moment and said, "Then what about you? Your family..."

"It's okay, my mother won't make a fuss."

After learning this profound lesson, she will be quiet for a long time.

Hearing this, Grandma Lin didn't say anything else. Lin Su looked at Qin Sui, who looked exhausted.

He was wearing a green military uniform, without a military cap, his hair was a little messy, his eyebrows and eyes showed fatigue, and he had dark circles under his eyes. It was obvious that he did not sleep well, but it did not affect his handsomeness at all.

I heard that they drove directly back and they must not have had much rest along the way.

I don’t know if it’s because of Qin Ni or because of myself.

Thinking of this, Lin Su felt complicated. She pursed her lips and said, "I haven't thanked you for saving me yet."

Although Lin Su fell into a coma, she regained consciousness briefly in the middle. Naturally, she knew who came to rescue her. She also learned from her grandmother that her third uncle had led people to seek justice for her.

What surprised her was Qin Ni.

Qin Ni had never said a word to her. She thought Qin Ni would remain silent about this matter, but she didn't expect that she would bravely stand up and speak for her.

It would be a lie to say she wasn't touched. She suddenly wanted to hug Qin Ni and say thank you to her.

Qin Sui looked at Lin Su's pale face and said in a deep voice, "There's no need to be polite between you and me. Besides, this matter was caused by my mother. Take good care of yourself and leave the rest to me."

Lin Su wanted to say something but hesitated, and finally chose to remain silent because of exhaustion.

Seeing that she wanted to rest, Qin Sui said nothing more. He went out to buy some necessities and then went to take care of the three children.

Inside the guesthouse.

Qin Yao saw Qin Sui and hesitated for a moment before asking, "How is she?"

Qin Ni immediately raised her head and stared at Qin Sui, obviously wanting to know too.

Only Qin Keke was playing with toys seriously and had no idea that Lin Su was in trouble.

Qin Sui was relieved that the two children were grateful and repaying their kindness. "It's all fine now."

After saying that, Qin Sui looked at Qin Ni, reached out and touched her head, and praised: "Dad heard about your feat. You did a great job."

Qin Ni's face flushed and her eyes became sore. She lowered her head hurriedly, not knowing how to react.

The main reason is that she is rarely praised by her father, so she doesn’t know how to respond.

"Dad, the aunt who often comes to visit our house threatened to sell my sister." Qin Yao has a good memory and holds grudges, so he would find an opportunity to complain.

Qin Sui frowned, "Which aunt?"

"I don't know. I just remember that she had a mole between her eyebrows."

Mole?

Qin Sui searched his memory and suddenly thought of someone.

Chen Zhaodi.

"Leave it to Dad, Dad will avenge you." Qin Sui touched Qin Yao's head.

To be fair, he also touched Qin Keke's head.

Qin Keke looked at Qin Sui in confusion, and then continued to play with his toys heartlessly.

Qin Sui smiled helplessly.

After meeting, Qin Sui could also see that the three children were in good spirits, which showed that Lin was well-educated.

To be honest, Qin Sui is very grateful to Lin Su.

His mother is his biological mother, but she treats his three children cruelly. Lin Su is not the biological mother of the three children, but she treats them sincerely and well.

So, what reason does he have to go back to that home that only causes him trouble?

Qin Sui entered the ward carrying food. Lin Su was now able to sit up with the help of Grandma Lin.

"Are you feeling better today?" he asked.

Lin Su nodded.

"The marriage report has come down. When you are able to leave, shall we go and register?" Qin Sui asked.

Lin Su continued to nod.

Her well-behaved and cute look made Qin Sui involuntarily take a few more glances at her.

"Deputy Captain Qin, your mother hanged herself!"

Suddenly, Erniu came running in with three kids to inform Qin Sui.
