Chapter 126 Dad misses you a lot

Jiang Jianli said a couple of things, and seeing that his daughter wasn't annoyed with him, he felt he had said enough, so he started complaining about his ex-wife:

"Dad misses you a lot and wants to know more about your life, after all, you are my child."

But your mother is too selfish. She always uses the issue between me and her to create a rift between my father and me. Several times when I came to visit, she interfered. Last time, she even threatened to kill me.

"Getting a divorce has made her so capable; don't spoil her too much."

Speaking of this, Jiang Jianli felt a pang of sadness. The daughter he had raised with such care and love had suddenly become distant.

Jiang Shuyin stood on the middle step of the stairs, looking down at Jiang Jianli: "What brings you here today? Did your concubine throw up again?"

Jiang Jianli's face flushed, and his voice involuntarily rose a decibel: "Why would she tell you about this! It's really..."

The quintessence of Chinese culture was on the tip of my tongue, but I swallowed it back down.

"Dad is here to see you. Let's go in and talk for a bit. You can also see how your mother treats me now."

Jiang Jianli followed his daughter into the house.

The shoes had long been thrown into the trash by Zheng Lanxiang out of anger and were long gone.

Jiang Jianli set his sights on another pair of men's slippers.

He had just reached out his hand when his daughter intercepted it.

Jiang Shuyin put the shoes away: "These belong to Xie Yin. Just take them off and come in. Although the weather is cool now, people with superpowers don't get sick so easily."

Jiang Jianli swallowed his anger, walked over to the sofa, sat down, and put his feet up on the sofa.

The position of her feet was where her mother's face was pressed against when she slept. Jiang Shuyin said with a stern face, "Put your feet down. You've gotten them too dirty on the floor."

Jiang Jianli, who had just swallowed his breath, suddenly felt it rise again: "I'm your father! Don't learn from your mother, who's always doing all sorts of things."

Huang Li never cared about any of that.

The door suddenly opened.

"Xiao Yin?" Zheng Lanxiang was changing her shoes at the door.

She heard that Jiang Jianli had followed her daughter to her home, so she hurried back.

Because of him, many people in the neighborhood laughed at her.

Just when things seemed to have calmed down, it came back again. It's like a persistent ghost.

"Mom, Mr. Jiang is here," Jiang Shu announced.

Jiang Jianli glared at her: "Now that your mother is here, you don't even call me 'Dad' anymore?"

Jiang Shuyin retorted: "From the moment you left home, I never intended to call anyone 'Dad' again. Not just anyone can be that title."

Jiang Jianli was furious; his finger trembled as he pointed at her, as if he had Parkinson's disease: "You...you people are truly unreasonable! Your Aunt Huang even told me to pay more attention to you, really..."

"Have you said enough?" Jiang Shuyin spoke to him so loudly for the first time: "If you're done, then hurry up and leave. Don't come here again, or I'll let Huang Li know what the consequences of scheming against people are."

Jiang Jianli's eyes widened: "What are you going to do? That's your brother's mother. After your parents and friends pass away, the only person you can rely on is your brother."

This is also why he has always wanted a son.

Jiang Shu sneered, "My brother can only come from my mother's womb. I don't acknowledge anyone else's womb." She went over and called out Hei Mei and the other two, "Even if I'm desperate, I'll rely on them. Do you understand?"

Jiang Jianli was stunned today.

The boy in front of them looked to be seven or eight years old, while the girl looked younger, about three or four.

Where did you pick up this child from?

The three children all resembled Jiang Shuyin in appearance, but how could Jiang Jianli have imagined that these children were his daughter's biological offspring?

Jiang Shuyin didn't tell him: "You should mind your own business. Are you going to leave this door by yourself today, or should I invite you?"

Jiang Jianli's face was ashen. In the past, if he had this expression, Jiang Shuyin would have panicked and lost her composure.

Now he simply observes with a detached, indifferent gaze: "Have you thought it through?"

Jiang Jianli suddenly stood up, walked to the door, and put on his shoes.

Before leaving, he didn't forget to throw out a harsh remark: "Don't forget that I introduced you to this job. I'll talk to your boss later and see just how capable you really are!"

Jiang Jianli was both angry and annoyed that his once obedient and sensible daughter had become so unruly and rude.

He admitted that his sudden relationship with another woman would give his child a bad impression, but he is an elder and a father!

Jiang Jianli realized that the child's drastic changes might be due to Zheng Lanxiang's instigation on one hand, and the influence of work on the other.

He wanted to see who was leading his daughter astray!

Jiang Shuyin escorted him to the door.

I don't want to say anything more, so let it be.

After putting the child to sleep that night, she received a reply from Xie Yin: "Shall I come over?"

Jiang Shuyin desperately needs someone to confide in: Come quickly.

How fast?

The next second, the glass window was gently knocked on.

Jiang Shuyin suspected that he was already outside the window, so she drew back the curtains and invited him in.

Xie Yin sat in the chair in front of his desk: "Go ahead and say it."

The expression on her face practically screamed, "I have something on my mind."

Jiang Shuyin frowned slightly. She briefly recounted what had happened that day, and then felt that she was being really dramatic: "Am I overthinking things? I was just talking nonsense. Just take it as me rambling."

Xie Yin rested his chin on the back of his hand, his elbow on the desk, and looked up at her: "Aren't humans just like that? Social creatures that live in groups and rely on emotions as a medium."

Jiang Shuyin was stunned.

He leaned back, looking at the ceiling: "What would happen if there were no emotions?"

Xie Yin smiled and said, "I'll take you to see my people another day. We are only connected by blood. The elders told me some news when I went back this time."
