When they arrived at the parking lot to pick up their cars, Jiang Shuyin still felt like she hadn't had enough.
It was very comfortable talking to Uncle Liu Dan. Whenever Jiang Shuyin hesitated over something she didn't understand, he would expand on it to explain it to her. When it came to something Jiang Shuyin understood, he would let her elaborate on the topic.
Knowing that she was unfamiliar with some of the new things that had just come out, Liu Dan explained to her the weaknesses and hierarchical distinctions of different types of superpowered individuals:
"We now divide people with superpowers into three levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. The beginner level includes two levels: 1 and 2. Level 1 people have superpowers but cannot control them stably; Level 2 people can control them stably, but their endurance and attack power can only withstand a maximum of five mutants."
Above that is the intermediate level, which includes levels 3-5. Level 3 is based on level 2 and involves mastering two or more superpowers. Level 4 involves superpowers that transcend physical properties, such as flight, teleportation, and mind control. There are no known cases of level 5.
"Advanced" includes levels 6-7, which are currently undefined. Levels above advanced are referred to as "cross-dimensional super soldiers" and hidden levels, which I'm not familiar with. Doesn't it sound like something out of science fiction?"
"Mmm." Jiang Shuyin was very grateful. The feeling that Uncle Liu Dan gave her could be described as that of a good teacher and helpful friend.
I was really reluctant to let go, so I took the initiative to ask for their contact information.
After the verification was successful, and seeing that the other party's profile picture was a photo of herself, Jiang Shu smiled and said, "Then I might bother you often in the future."
Liu Dan smiled back: "Perhaps I also have some questions to ask you. Go and drive."
If she were a little younger, he would have liked to adopt her as his goddaughter. Now that she's grown up to be so beautiful, he doesn't know what people would think if they found out, so he'd better not.
...
It's early winter now, and even more people are going out to sea, so the parking lot is almost full.
The withered yellow leaves on the ground had almost turned into mud, the branches were bare, and the leaves were dark green with few new buds. Jiang Shuyin searched around the parking lot several times, and finally the system helped her locate the car and navigate there.
The car was covered in fallen leaves, and the windshield was caked with ash; it was impossible to drive without washing it.
What's ingenious is that a new gas station has been built here.
To celebrate the grand opening of our new store, we're offering a free car wash with every full tank of gas.
Jiang Shu drove over and was surprised to see the convenience store owner being questioned by the political vetting team. She immediately laughed.
When Liu Dan saw Jiang Shuyin enter, he waved to her and said, "Excuse me for a moment."
Jiang Shuyin had no choice but to go out for a walk. When she came back, the car was clean inside and out and smelled fresh. She put her belongings in the car, sat in it and waited for a while before the political review team came out.
When the jurors saw her, they gave her an OK sign, which probably meant that there was no problem.
On the way back, Jiang Shu drove the car and couldn't chat with Uncle Liu Dan anymore.
The little one couldn't get out of the safe house, and she was so bored that she wanted to take a nap.
"System, hurry up and chat with me, or I'll fall asleep."
"Host, we don't have anything to talk about, do we? We're not even on the same wavelength."
Jiang Shuyin pursed her lips: "Thank you, I feel better now." She was still angry.
System: "You're welcome. If I were to chat with you, it would be dangerous to drive while distracted. You can set a work mode so that you will receive a mild electric shock when you are mentally fatigued."
"Okay... Set up the work mode." Jiang Shuyin took a few deep breaths to calm herself down.
After arriving in Hangzhou, the political review team went to deliver seaweed. Jiang Shuyin was so tired that she took a nap in the car. When she woke up, it was almost dark and the streets were crowded with people.
The vetting team wasn't in a hurry to get going, so they invited her to stay at a hotel for the night, and they would cover the expenses.
Jiang Shuyin didn't stand on ceremony with them and followed them to the hotel parking lot. After getting out of the car, she took the elevator directly to the 4th floor.
A person greeted them at the door, who was warm but not obsequious to Uncle Liu, and spoke in a gentle and sweet voice: "The rooms for the four of you have been prepared and are ready for check-in at any time. It's dinner time now, and meals are included in the rooms. Dinner time is before nine o'clock. Shall we go to the front desk to register first?"
Liu Dan nodded: "Thank you for your help."
There is a QR code at the front desk. Scan it to access the information registration interface. After filling in the information, you can complete the facial recognition. The magnetic ID card is outdated.
Jiang Shuyin has a habit of making sure she is clean and tidy before eating comfortably, and she dries her hair before going out.
Upon arriving at the self-service dining area, I took a sterilized bowl from the counter and looked around. I was surprised to find that there was pickled fish and steamed shrimp. Aren't these inedible?
With questions in mind, Jiang Shu led the way to take a look.
The sauerkraut fish was almost completely empty; quite a few people ate it.
There's a sign next to it: The fish and shrimp are artificially farmed, and the water quality is provided by Wang Ne, a level 4 water-type superpower master. They are non-toxic and harmless, so please feel free to eat them.
Jiang Shuyin wanted to applaud. Foodies can indeed overcome all difficulties to satisfy their appetites. If wood-type abilities can cultivate vegetables, then water-type abilities can be used for aquaculture. Amazing!
Unsure if she liked the food, she only took a little of each item, then found an empty seat to eat.
I hadn't eaten more than a few bites after sitting down when a shadow fell over my head.
Someone carrying a plate came over and struck up a conversation: "Is this your first time here? I've never seen you before. I'm Zhang Lei from the Western Construction Zone, and I currently work in infrastructure-related fields."
Jiang Shuyin paused for a moment, then took a small bite of meat: "Hello, I'm from Anshi, currently working in the field of the special task force. You... did you need something from me?"
She saw plenty of empty seats around her, yet this person chose to sit opposite her.
Zhang Lei had met Jiang Shuyin and knew what she had done in Tibet: "I just wanted to get to know you and exchange contact information. Thanks to you, we were able to control the potentially dangerous Shuler group as soon as possible. This matter is of great significance. Almost every month, someone in our circle mentions your name."
Although the Shule tribe was threatened and suffered losses because of Jiang Shuyin's escape, strangely, no one mentioned it, and they didn't even feel hatred towards the name Jiang Shuyin.
