Jiang Shuyin asked Minister Hu for another seven days of leave to return home.
Because she was not familiar with the reporting process, she specifically asked her teacher Liu Dan on the way back: Should we talk to Minister Hu or the mayor about the Merfolk first, or report it directly to the central base?
After Liu Dan inquired about the situation of the Merfolk, he suggested that she go to the central base to report first, but she should communicate with the higher-ups first, accept all the benefits, but not reveal her name.
Jiang Shuyin chose to trust her teacher and went to the central base instead of going home directly.
When she asked at the entrance where the special department was located, the person on the other end glanced at her and asked, "Are you Comrade Jiang Shuyin?"
It seems the teacher has already contacted the higher-ups for her, which is good, saving her from wasting time not knowing where to go.
Jiang Shuyin replied, "Yes."
The other party led her over, leaving Xie Yin outside. Jiang Shu gave Xie Yin a look.
Upon meeting the special department manager, he quickly explained the situation regarding the Merfolk and said, "I have brought the former chieftain of the Merfolk, but her attack power is still very strong. Only Xie Yin can subdue her. I suggest that Xie Yin bring her in, otherwise I cannot bear the consequences."
The manager agreed with her statement, and after passing it on, Xie Yin quickly brought Chunhua in.
"This is the merfolk chieftain? Where's his tail?"
Chunhua scoffed.
Jiang Shuyin explained: "After the mermaids come ashore, their tails automatically turn into legs."
The manager nodded in amazement: "Then how do you prove she's a merman, and what about the alliance you mentioned?"
Jiang Shuyin looked at Chunhua: "You prove it."
Chunhua's eyes hardened, and in the instant she raised her hand, several deep claw marks appeared on the weighbridge, one of which revealed that the steel bars in the foundation had also been cut.
The manager realized that these three were not to be trifled with, so he decided to consult his superiors.
He picked up the landline on his desk, dialed the express number, explained the situation, and slowly put the phone down, saying amicably, "Please have a seat, the magistrate will be there shortly."
......
After leaving the central base, Jiang Shuyin felt somewhat helpless.
Chunhua is still a burden on my shoulders, I haven't gotten rid of it.
Who would have thought that she still had many desperate measures up her sleeve, threatening the leader that if he couldn't follow Jiang, then they would all die together.
Everyone still vividly remembers the scene of the high-ranking mutant in King Y's capital self-destructing. The leader is not afraid of death, but he is afraid that the cooperation that has been agreed upon will fail because of death.
Once she was sure Jiang Shuyin really didn't want to bring the merman along, she advised her, "Just consider it as having made another friend. You did a great job. I'll apply for a month's paid leave for you. Take her around and let her appreciate the culture and scenery of our Z country. Let her stay here in peace, and you can relax too."
Jiang Shuyin thought it sounded good and reluctantly accepted it.
Before I could figure out how to bring it up with Minister Hu, he called me as soon as I got home and said, "I didn't expect you to be so tight-lipped, Minister Jiang. You went on a secret mission and called it sightseeing. Now that you've completed the mission, you're probably going to be my superior, right? Congratulations in advance. Please take good care of me in the future."
Minister Hu is really obsessed with officialdom, but why does his words seem to imply something about her?
Jiang Shuyin said directly, "I don't know yet. I'm exhausted. I've taken another month off. I don't want to go to work at all. I'll wait until the holiday is over."
Minister Hu hesitated for a moment, then thought for a long time that she might really not be interested in the promotion, so he put it aside for the time being and decided to wait until she returned.
Jiang Shuyin went home and lay in bed with Xie Yin for a day and a night.
Although you can sleep on the boat, it's still on the water, and with her keen senses, she always feels uneasy. Even now, lying in bed, she still feels like she's being rocked.
As I rocked, I just didn't want to get up.
Xie Yin thought it was quite nice. She had been busy the whole time they were out, but now she was quietly lying in bed reading a novel, and the two of them would occasionally talk. It was a wonderful feeling.
Downstairs living room.
When Zheng Lanxiang saw someone sitting on the table, she thought it was her daughter, but after taking a few steps closer, she realized that her presbyopia had made a mistake.
This looks like a guest brought back by the daughter.
Zheng Lanxiang asked politely, "Are you hungry?"
Chunhua nodded.
People with strong fighting skills often have big appetites.
When Zheng Lanxiang asked Chunhua what she liked to eat, Chunhua replied without hesitation, "Anything is fine, just add a fish."
She recognized the woman's face and knew she was Jiang Shuyin's mother, so she took a few more glances at her.
In his mind, he was recalling himself and Alvin's mother. Hundreds of years had passed, and fish don't have very good memories; he had forgotten what she looked like.
It feels so good to be taken care of.
Zheng Lanxiang asked Lao Xiao to buy fish, while she opened the refrigerator and found eggs and pork. She made scallion egg pancakes and stir-fried pork and served them on the table. Afraid that she wouldn't eat spicy food, she used pretty, non-spicy green peppers.
Chunhua had never eaten these before and thought the taste was a bit strange, but not bad.
Old Xiao bought a few red carp at the market. They were recently raised and were not very big, with the three of them weighing just over two pounds. Old Xiao heard that they were for entertaining his new daughter's guests, so he took out his money and bought them all.
Zheng Lanxiang knew that carp had many bones and her daughter didn't like to eat it, so she fried them all and served them on the table. Chunhua had never seen this kind of fish before, but it looked quite nice. She poked it and asked, "What's this fish called?"
Zheng Lanxiang sat down next to her after finishing her work: "This is a carp. You haven't been to the market often, have you? Just like my Xiaoyin, this carp is a good thing. Legend has it that Yellow River carp that leap over the Dragon Gate will transform into dragons..."
As Chunhua listened to the story, she chewed up the carp's head and bones and ate it all. When Zheng Lanxiang finished telling the story, she saw that the plate was empty and assumed that Chunhua had thrown the bones into the trash can. She thought the child was very particular and smiled as she took the plate to the kitchen to wash it.
