It takes another four or five days to get from Anshi to Tibet, and more people have been arriving in recent days.
Jiang Shuyin was half asleep, leaning against the glass window. The train stopped at an unfamiliar platform, and the jolt woke her up.
Hearing Pingyang's loud voice echoing in the carriage, he wouldn't stop even when he was sitting opposite Jiang Shuyin, making her feel a bit nervous.
Fortunately, every time a new person is introduced, Pingyang is like a puppy smelling fish, going over to ask about their name and abilities, which gives her some peace and quiet.
Some people didn't want to talk, so Pingyang took out a registration book, which already contained information on many people, including Jiang Shuyin, but only her strength-based superpower was registered.
"You need to cooperate with me, brother. This carriage is my responsibility..." Before he could finish speaking, the other party had already started to entertain him.
Those who board this train are all people who work in the government's superhuman department. They are the unruly type who were not accepted by the organization, so they are actually quite easy to manage internally.
After returning from registering in Pingyang, Jiang Shuyin gulped down a large bottle of water. She waited for his next move, and only three days passed before she went from being impatient to somewhat interested.
"Among the newcomers, there's actually a healer. I heard he can even treat injuries that expose bone. Want to get to know him?" the platform grinned.
Jiang Shuyin: "Is there anything else?"
Pingyang laughed loudly: "Yes, a light-type! This is so rare. I'm going to team up with her after we get off the bus. Do you want to come along?"
Jiang Shuyin glanced at Xie Yin, actually quite wanting to break up with him.
Xie Yin's gaze was calm, utterly undisturbed, while her words were like a stone thrown into a lake.
"I'm joining."
Xie Yin looked at her, the ripples in his eyes widening.
Pingyang immediately pulled her into the line, and then heard a male voice say, "Pull me in."
"It's full." Pingyang showed him the bracelet. Xie Yin frowned. Jiang Shuyin suddenly felt a little guilty and thought she was a bit of a jerk.
Two days later, after my butt was completely numb from sitting, I finally heard the announcement: "This train is about to arrive at its final stop. Passengers, please take your belongings and prepare to disembark..."
People sitting in their seats breathed a sigh of relief and eagerly stood up to look out the window. Before they even saw the platform, they had already taken their luggage down and placed it on their laps to queue for disembarkation.
Jiang Shuyin sat inside, waiting for Xie Yin to get up before she could leave. She waited for a long time, but Xie Yin didn't move, holding the cat carrier and seemingly lost in thought.
The car jolted to a stop, and Xie Yin got up to take her things down and followed her in line to get off.
Jiang Shuyin was right in front of Pingyang, and no one was crowding her.
After getting off the bus, Pingyang sent a message on his wristband, asking the team members to gather at the flower bed on the left side of the exit. Jiang Shuyin followed, and a car took everyone to the activity location in batches.
After most of the vehicles parked in the square had left, Pingyang finally gathered everyone together and found a car with fewer people to sit in. Xie Yin also got into this car.
Jiang Shuyin turned her head and said, "I'll leave Qingwu and Feitao to you. Don't let them fight amongst themselves. If they want to fight, they should go find the mutated creatures to fight."
Xie Yin nodded: "Were you angry before?"
Jiang Shu paused for a moment: "Yes, because you don't like black plums."
"If I like her, can you not be angry?"
"Can."
Xie Yin felt relieved, got off at the first stop, and waved to her while carrying the cat carrier.
Jiang Shuyin watched his figure slowly turn into a black dot, then turned around and saw Pingyang standing next to her. She grinned and said, "Why did your boyfriend get off the bus? I thought he would follow us the whole time."
"Spending too much time together gets boring; it's better to separate and then meet again."
"I know, absence makes the heart grow fonder."
Jiang Shuyin: "......"
Their group got off at the seventh stop, which meant they had ventured deep into the heart of the region.
They had only walked a short distance when they encountered a small group of three or five yaks, which had clearly mutated, with bloodshot eyes and their horns pointing forward as they charged at them.
If a person is bumped, their intestines will definitely rupture.
Pingyang shouted, "Scatter and run in different directions! Those who can handle yaks, come with me! Attack the dirtiest yak first!"
In the group, some drew long knives, some drew swords, and some hid to the side to charge up their energy. Jiang Shuyin's weapon was still the stun baton for self-defense, which was slightly deformed after being subjected to force.
[Mutant Yak, Survival: 455, Damage: 689, Bonus: Berserk]
Jiang Shuyin was just testing the waters, but she didn't expect it to actually succeed.
Pingyang and three teammates were holding off a bull. One of them, who was standing behind the bull, was kicked several meters away. Jiang Shuyin rushed over to help.
"What were you spacing out for? The yak was just a hair's breadth away from collapsing."
"He Zong is about to be trampled by a cow!"
Jiang Shuyin was the closest, so she went over to deal with the other bull that was trying to trample on people. She knocked the bull unconscious with a stick. He Zong got up, clutching his stomach, and took a few steps away. He then activated his superpower and used fire to roast the bull's neck.
She could smell the aroma of meat. The yak's pain receptors had been destroyed, so it felt no pain. It continued to attack the people nearby, swinging its neck. Its strong limbs moved, its muscles taut, and its horns were determined to pierce through people's bodies.
Jiang Shu seized the opportunity to break off the yak's horn. He Zong, who was cooperating with her, was almost kicked again. His face turned pale as he dodged far away and released his skill, which hit the top of the yak's head.
The fireball charred the cow's neck, and after the flesh on its head was burned away, the blackened skull was exposed.
Sensing that the crystal core was threatened, the yak went berserk!
Its body swelled to twice its original size, its muscles bulging with blood, and it kicked up dirt from the ground, slamming it onto Jiang Shuyin. He Zong was not spared either; he dodged the largest clump but couldn't avoid the smaller dirt particles, which hit his face and hurt quite a bit.
