Chapter 50 Captured

Jiang Shuyin, Lin Miaomiao, and Gu Xiao were escorted to the yurt by the lake.

As the middle-aged man entered, a scantily clad woman knelt at the door to help him change his shoes. Jiang Shuyin looked at the woman's dark hair and felt a chill run down her spine. This was the true life of a woman who was powerless in the apocalypse.

The middle-aged man sat in the seat at the head of the table, with his men standing in a row on either side. In the middle were Jiang Shu and six others, who looked like prisoners awaiting trial, their knees pressed tightly together.

The middle-aged man appreciated their silence and spoke in the common language: "Are you all superhumans here to control the yaks?"

Pingyang swallowed hard. As the team leader, he stepped forward to speak, but before he could even open his mouth, he was whipped so hard that his skin was torn and bleeding.

Gu Xiao trembled all over: "...I have light...type ability, we are all... here to fight mutated...yaks."

Gu Xiao looked around, and under the man's increasingly dangerous gaze, she slowly walked over step by step and sat down on his lap.

She was terrified; this man was insane!

The middle-aged man looked down at her and said, "The taste of light-based superpowers is indeed different. You can divide the rest among yourselves; I'll take this one."

Even Pingyang and his group couldn't escape this; there wasn't just one way to vent their frustrations.

Suddenly, a young man appeared in front of Jiang Shuyin. His face went from blurry to three-dimensional, and he looked at her calmly. His aura overwhelmed everyone present. When the others saw him make his move, they turned around and walked towards Lin Miaomiao with regret.

"...What kind of superpower do you have?"

"strength."

The boy's gaze lingered on her long hair, like an invisible hand invading every inch of her body. Seemingly indifferent to this superpower, the boy said nothing more, took two steps, stopped, and turned to signal her to follow.
