Pei Yi used his remaining 10,000 task points to buy himself a hat that could cover his eyes. Then he went to the market to buy water, grains, oils, etc. After filling in the delivery address and time, he planned to treat himself to a meal at the food court, since he probably wouldn't be going out for the next few months.

Pei Yi grew up in Sichuan and loves spicy and numbing food. He especially loves the spicy hot pot and spicy tang from the snack shop.
He had just sat down after selecting his ingredients when a woman sat down opposite him, holding a cat in her arms: "Handsome, could you watch my cat for me? I'm going to pick out some vegetables."
Pei Yi avoided her gaze: "No."
Can you please let him go?
"Just hold the cat for me for a minute, no more than three minutes, please." The woman clasped her hands together and shook them, seemingly pleading but actually full of coercion.
Pei Yi gritted his teeth, about to refuse, when he looked up and inadvertently saw someone walking towards him. His pupils constricted sharply, he hugged himself tightly, and lowered his head.
The man hadn't noticed him at first, but approached because of his unusual behavior.
"The brat from the Pei family? Haven't seen you around lately, who's got you hooked up with?" The man casually sat down opposite Pei Yi, one arm draped over the back of the chair.
The woman looked at the two men; their styles were different, but they were both good-looking. She then handed the cat to the new man: "Handsome, can you do me a favor?"
The man smirked dismissively: "That's such a corny pickup line. Why should I help you? How boring." He didn't like women; they were troublesome and self-righteous.
Feeling awkward, the woman glared at them and went to sit at another table.
Pei Yi's good mood was ruined, and he even lost interest in choosing his favorite dishes. He grabbed two kinds of vegetables and vermicelli and went to the counter to pay. The man thought he was broke and laughed at him, "Didn't Director Fang give you tens of thousands of mission points before? You've spent them all so quickly?"
Pei Yi ignored him.
Thinking he'd hit the nail on the head, the man got excited: "The market's good right now, and you haven't been with many women. While you're still getting on your feet, how about I introduce you to a few gentle ones? They're known in the industry for being patient and not resorting to violence."
His words were so blunt that Pei Yi kept looking around before leading him to a less crowded corner:
"I was forced into this. I am sexually normal. Please stop bothering me."
The man looked him over strangely: "Impossible, maybe you're bisexual. Or should I let you have some fun to verify?"
When communication proved ineffective, Pei Yi closed his eyes and took out his phone to browse news and pass the time.
The man didn't ask any more questions. After finishing his meal, he followed Pei Yi. Pei Yi tried to shake him off, wandering around the base for a long time, but he couldn't shake him off and even encountered some unexpected people.
He still thought Long Ying was dead.
Pei Yi stopped and realized that the person next to Long Ying was Jiang Shuyin. He knew Long Ying well; she wouldn't do anything without a reason, so her clinging to someone like this must mean she had something to gain.
He hadn't decided whether to remind Jiang Shuyin.
Jiang Shu felt the gaze behind her and turned around, slightly surprised to see the young man. Long Ying's reaction was even more complicated.
“Pei Yi?” Her loss of control was genuine.
Jiang Shu watched from the sidelines.
It took Long Ying a long time to calm down and regain her composure.
"This is my boyfriend," she introduced to Jiang Shuyin.
He walked up to Pei Yi and punched him in the chest: "Do you know I almost died! Why didn't you come looking for me? Where have you been all these days? I couldn't find you anywhere."
After holding back emotions for months, I finally broke down when I met someone I used to know, and tears streamed down my face uncontrollably.
With each word Long Ying spoke, she threw a punch, and the force was considerable. Pei Yi took the blows, whispering, "I'm sorry... I'm sorry..."
"So you really are straight, huh?" The man following behind Pei Yi suddenly stood up: "Your girlfriend isn't ugly either, no wonder you won't be with Young Master Fang."
Long Ying looked up at Pei Yi, her eyes filled with doubt: "You..."
Pei Yi held her tightly: "Don't ask anymore, please don't ask anymore, let's go home, okay?"
The once proud and noble young master Pei had gone through something that made him so vulnerable that he had to beg her. Long Ying's heart softened.
Their lost love rekindled, and they walked hand in hand towards their new home.

Jiang Shu watched them leave, and the man who had spoken earlier walked up to her with interest: "Interested in a one-night stand?"
This woman looks like a high-quality catch; men often believe their looks appeal to both men and women.
But is Jiang Shuyin someone who has never seen a beautiful face before? She bluntly said, "I'm not interested, you're just average-looking."
These words hurt more than two slaps to a man's face. The man's lips drooped: "I don't believe you unless you show me the evidence, otherwise you're lying."
Jiang Shuyin said incredulously, "Naive. So what if I lied? I'm leaving. Don't follow me, or I'll throw my superpower at you."
When the man heard that she had special abilities, his arrogance vanished instantly. He stared at her, trying to memorize her face.
So what if he has superpowers? He's backed by high-ranking officials in the base. Superpowered individuals are just tools to them. What's so great about that?
Jiang Shuyin left directly and found a hotel to stay in.
I hadn't received a message from the professor by the next day, so I didn't pay any more attention to it and drove home.
After registering at the entrance of the base, as she continued driving, she felt someone following her.
I initially thought they were just people going out on a mission and had taken the same route, but after passing several forks in the road, they still hadn't left, so something seemed off.
The cars behind overtook and parked sideways, blocking the road in front, and the cars behind did the same.
