Chapter 9

Chapter 9

Noah looked at the young man with a bloody head in front of him, feeling both angry and heartbroken.

Is this kid stupid? Instead of avoiding the bear, he chased it all the way to the edge of a cliff and ended up falling like this—anyone who didn't know better would think he was trying to commit suicide.

If he hadn't been secretly watching and throwing out a "smooth board" to cushion the fall when the accident happened, an ordinary person falling from a height of 100 meters would still have their head intact on their neck.

Even so, the child was lying on the ground, his clothes torn in many places, blood seeping out, mixed with withered leaves and broken branches, and several long thorns were still stuck in his arm, looking extremely pitiful.

Noah approached, extending his right hand. A beam of green light shot out from the silver arm guard, scanning Su Yue from head to toe.

At the same time, a semi-transparent miniature screen appeared in front of his right eye, scrolling through his injuries:

Scratches on the left side of the forehead

shoulder soft tissue contusion

Right clavicle fracture

Third and fourth rib fractures

Right arm fracture

Seven cuts and stab wounds on the right forearm

Eight lacerations and stab wounds on the left forearm

Right femur fracture

Right kneecap fracture

...

Noah took a deep breath.

He's a talented person.

The castle mountain has excellent tourist facilities and hasn't had an accident in years. Back in the day, extreme rock climbers could climb the steepest cliffs and come back unscathed, but this kid managed to get himself into this state—he's really capable.

He didn't bring any medical equipment, only a simple set of protective armor for short-distance travel, detection, analysis, and emergency response, but it couldn't perform surgery. So he pressed a switch on his left arm armor and took out a small yellow ball.

The ball, initially only the size of a fingernail, quickly expanded after landing on Su Yue, spreading up and down his battered body, attempting to completely envelop him.

Su Yue's tightly furrowed brows relaxed slightly, and her eyelashes trembled gently.

These are sterile isolation bubbles used for initial disinfection and anesthesia. They are usually only used locally; this is the first time Noah has used them to cover the whole body like this.

Who can blame them when this kid is such a "talent"?

The air bubbles also have a shock-absorbing and fixation function, making them very suitable for fracture patients.

Once the yellow bubbles completely enveloped Su Yue, Noah picked up the "amber" and, with white light flowing from his leg armor, he exhaled a stream of air and slowly rose into the air.

After returning to the mountaintop to pick up Da Bao, just as we were about to leave, shouts came from not far away—seven or eight voices rose and fell, calling out "Su Yue".

So her name was Su Yue. Noah glanced at the person in his arms.

Then someone called out his full name: "Pat Su Yue! Pat Su Yue, classmate!"

Noah was taken aback.

Pat?

This surname originates from the Crystal Clan and is extremely rare among contemporary humans.

Inside the bubble, Pat Su Yue, under the influence of anesthesia, let out a comfortable "hmm".

Noah hesitated for a moment, then took a flat, white disc from his left arm armor. It was only the size of a palm, slightly convex at the top and bottom, like a miniature UFO.

"Go," he said in a low voice, his eyes turning golden in an instant as he used a bit of his supernatural power.

The disc hovered in the air for two seconds, then, like a soldier receiving orders, flew straight to the other side.

On the mountaintop, Mr. Philip was leading his students in a frantic search for someone, oblivious to the miniature UFO that flew overhead.

The white disc hovered in mid-air for a moment, scanning and locking onto all the living people from the campsite to the observation deck.

The next moment, it burst forth with an extremely dazzling light, as if day had suddenly arrived, so bright that people couldn't open their eyes!

Finally, someone noticed the strange thing in the sky, but the bright light flashed and disappeared in an instant. When they regained their senses, everyone was stunned in place.

They looked at each other in twos and threes, bewildered: "Huh? How did I end up here?"

"My God! It's so dark here!"

Where is this?

"What was I just about to do?"

"Ouch! There's a thorn, I've got pricked!"

...

Mr. Philip looked equally bewildered. He was still in the posture of instructing the two students—clearly he had just been about to give some instructions, but in the blink of an eye, he had forgotten everything.

The two students had already crossed the campsite boundary and were heading into the bushes. Philip, his mind racing, yelled, "What are you doing going into the bushes at night? Are you feeding the mosquitoes?! Get back here!"

The two shuddered and glanced at the dark bushes—it seemed as if there were not only crazy mosquitoes, but also ghosts inside.

Did they have some nerve to go in there on their own?

Fortunately, the teacher's shout snapped them out of their daze, and they jogged back.

Philip looked around and found that the tents were almost empty, but familiar figures were scattered in the bushes... Good heavens, the whole class went crazy and ran around outside at night, giving the wild mosquitoes a good meal?

He took a deep breath and shouted, "You little brats!! Get back to the campsite right now!! Or you'll all get a demerit!!"

With their memories altered, everyone experienced a brief period of disorientation before finding themselves in the pitch-black wilderness, filled with shock and fear. Philip's curses were like a savior's proclamation, and the group immediately rushed back to camp in small groups.

Then bursts of laughter erupted, like returning from a haunted house adventure—exciting and thrilling.

Only Mike wore a bitter expression. He stared at his large tent, utterly bewildered: he had been to Castle Mountain four times already, so why was he hanging out with the younger students again this time? Su Yue wasn't there... Su Yue seemed... to have missed this trip for some reason.

Su Yue slowly opened his eyes, feeling as if he had just had a long sleep, his head still spinning.

What comes into view is an unfamiliar stone house. The entire room is built of stone, and the tables and chairs are also made of stone, with rounded edges and carved patterns, simple yet exquisite.

The bed beneath me seemed to be carved from a single piece of stone, with some kind of magical soft cushion laid in the middle, which was quite comfortable.

But this room... has no windows and no door.

Soft light shines through the stone wall from behind, not glaring, and you can clearly see a mysterious totem painted on one wall, in a style similar to the ancient temple murals in the Discovery Channel.

Is this a tomb?

Was he buried alive?

Just as he was feeling puzzled and confused, a huge white dog emerged from under the bed, its large face close to his, its nose almost touching his. Its eyes, black as jewels, stared intently at him, looking utterly innocent.

Su Yue was shocked: They even buried a dog with him?

The man and the dog stared at each other for a moment.

The large dog suddenly turned and ran towards the opposite wall, its tail wagging excitedly. Then, under Su Yue's petrified gaze, the center of the wall automatically faded, revealing a frosted glass door. The door slid open silently, and a man stepped inside—

It was the man he had chased recklessly that night, a man as handsome as a sculpture.

When the man saw that Su Yue was awake, he pointed at him with his finger.

It was as if their fingertips were enchanted. The stone bed split in two, the upper part supporting Su Yue as it slowly rose. At the same time, the right wall faded, revealing a glass window.

The stone chamber suddenly lit up.

Su Yue, now "sitting" upright, was level with the window. The window was half-open, revealing swaying tree shadows, the chirping of insects and birds, and the gentle breeze carrying the scents of grass, earth, and faint flowers.

An underground tomb can be transformed into the most popular natural-style residence!

Su Yue was dumbfounded: This was a magic show featuring a live spatial transformation experience?!

The man walked to the bedside and placed a palm-sized remote control on the floor: "Use this to control the doors and windows, and adjust the light and temperature."

Not wanting to appear too unsophisticated, Su Yue feigned composure and simply said "Oh."

He kept staring at the other person's lips—the curve was just right on that face, perfect on its own, giving him a strange urge to reach out and touch them. Actually, not only the lips, but the nose, eyes, eyebrows... were all beautiful.

Seeing his intense gaze, the man pointed to himself and said, "Noah." His voice was deep, magnetic, and languid.
