Time was tight and the task was heavy. Nanqu didn't dare to aim too high and build a house that was too big. As long as there was enough space to move around and sleep after the walls were removed, that would be enough.
All told, it's about ten square meters.
Although the tools were a bit worn out, this body possessed considerable strength, and Nanqu was adept at using internal energy skillfully. Soon, a pit about two meters deep was dug.
Next, Nanqu dug two tree pits in the four corners and buried the tree stumps she had previously made in them. Then she dug shallow foundations on all four sides and began to build walls with yellow mud and stones.
While you're at it, please also finish building the steps at the entrance.
After that, the roofing will be completed soon. Because there were no nails, Nanqu had some doubts about the sturdiness of the vines, so she left grooves in the stone walls to facilitate the construction of the roof beams.
Once the roof beams were in place, Nanqu wove the entire roof with vines. Then, she covered it with mud and straw, and finally laid flat stone slabs on top of each other.
Fortunately, these were all things that Nanqu had prepared in advance, so the process was much faster.
Finally, the house was completed before the torrential rain. To prevent water from flowing back in, even in heavy rain, Nanqu piled the excavated soil around the walls to form slopes, and then covered them with stone slabs. This way, even if rainwater hit the walls, it would flow down the stone slabs.
As for the main gate, Nanqu built a wall at the entrance, which is currently covered by a large stone slab.
Based on the location of the water flow, Nanqu dug a channel to facilitate the drainage of the accumulated water.
After the heavy rain stopped, Nanqu finally completed all of this production.
After removing the large stone slab at the entrance, Nan Qu entered the room and realized a serious problem: she had forgotten to leave a window open.
Nan Qu covered her face, unable to accept that such a basic mistake could happen to her.
Nowadays, all the light sources in the house are located at the entrance.
The rest of the house is made of stone, making it impractical to carve out a window. Now, Nanqu can only pin its hopes on the outer door.
Making wooden planks was too much work, so Nanqu simply wove a door out of vines. As for lighting, it relied entirely on slits specially left in the vines.
Of course, for added privacy, Nanqu also added another door on top of the main door. This way, the window could also be closed.
Afterward, Nanqu leveled the ground with stones and built herself a bed using stones and planks. She covered it with straw, and her little home was finally completed.
The only downside is that her space is still not open.
Nan Qu sighed, ate the last piece of meat which was nothing but salt, packed her things, and went out again.
Regal had saved her several times, so Nanqu carried him wherever she went, even though he was still asleep.
In the days that followed, Nanqu began to explore the surrounding areas, with her home as the center.
Her diet became increasingly varied, and she collected a considerable number of medicinal herbs. However, her clothing remained unchanged. Finally, Nan Qu sighed. She didn't know when the space would open, and not wanting to continue like this, she had no choice but to find a way to make clothes.
Nan Qu knew what the raw materials for making clothes were, but she didn't know how the raw materials were turned into clothes, and she only had a vague understanding of what the raw materials actually looked like.
Finally, Nanqu simply sighed and decided to find the option that was least likely to go wrong.
When she put on the straw mat-like clothes, Nan Qu covered her face again. She had never been so speechless in all her lifetimes combined. She thought of all the beautiful dresses Taya wore in her spatial storage, and all the fabrics she had collected.
And yet, she's dressed in such a disheveled straw outfit! The worst part is, it's openwork!
Disgrace, absolute disgrace!
After Nan Qu had mentally reconciled herself, that is, after comforting herself, she once again opened up her territory.
However, Nan Qu never expected that after living in this place for half a year, the space still wouldn't open up.
This was the first time Nan Qu hadn't opened the space for such a long time. What made Nan Qu even more uneasy was that Regal still hadn't woken up.
This situation is too bizarre. Even though Nanqu is slow to realize, she suspects that there might be something wrong with this world.
So Nanqu closed her door and hid herself. She packed her food and water in her basket and left her safe house.
She had already explored the surrounding areas of Nanqu, which could be reached in a day. Now she wanted to explore even more distant places.
The first place is the place where the heavenly fire once occurred.
Nanqu returned to the water's edge where she had awakened and walked upstream.
Looking at the vast, newly formed plains around us, it's hard to imagine that this place was once covered in dense forests.
The grass here is very tender, but I don't know why no animals ever set foot here.
As soon as Nanqu stepped onto the plain, before she could even feel the softness of the grass, she suddenly felt a strange sense of crisis.
Without almost any hesitation, Nanqu immediately jumped out of the area.
The next second, a fire suddenly broke out where she was.
Nan Qu looked at the location of the fire, then at her feet. It was only one step away, yet she couldn't bring herself to step into it.
I tried twice more in two different locations, but the result was still the same.
Nanqu marked this place as a dangerous place.
Then, they began to study the location of the grassland.
Just as Nan Qu was wondering what was so strange about this place, lightning and thunder struck the sky once again.
Amidst the lightning and thunder, Nanqu suddenly heard a particularly piercing sound. Immediately afterwards, a large, entirely white beast suddenly flew out from the previously boundless grassland.
