Chapter 103 The Gate of Time and Space Disappears

Then, suddenly, colorful feathers fell before Nan Qu's eyes. Because they were too dazzling, Nan Qu subconsciously closed her eyes and then opened them. She saw a flying beast with seven-colored feathers land in front of her.

This flying beast resembled a bird, but possessed four wings. Unlike birds, it lacked forelimbs and instead landed on all fours. Its tail was covered in colorful feathers, as magnificent as a peacock's tail. It had a golden horn on its head, and its body was entirely black. Its eyes shone like jewels. Its feathers shimmered with seven colors, dazzlingly bright.

"Human? Why do you carry the aura of my people?"

Nan Qu blinked, and after realizing she could move again, she thought about what the flying beast had said, moved the basket on her back to the front, and took out the five small animals inside.

Which one is yours?

Even taking just one of them would be great.

However, the flying beast stared at Nanqu: "Are you trying to fool me?"

Nan Qu shook her head vigorously: "Absolutely not! I only have these few, and one of them is mine, look, this one."

As she spoke, Nanqu carried Regal out. Then she discovered that Regal, who had been sleeping soundly, had suddenly woken up.

The first thing Regal said after waking up was, "Master, there's something wrong with this spacetime! We need to leave here as soon as possible."

Nan Qu didn't speak, but the flying beast suddenly flew in front of Nan Qu. Nan Qu subconsciously flew backward, but found that she couldn't move again.

Then, one of the flying beast's wings landed on Nanqu's forehead.

A moment later, the flying beast released Nan Qu, and then countless halos of light emanated from its body and shone onto Nan Qu's brow. Nan Qu felt as if her body and soul were about to explode.

Just when Nan Qu thought she was about to die, she saw a colorful flying beast, just like the one in front of her, fly out from between her eyebrows.

Nan Qu stared in disbelief at the scene before her. Then, a mouthful of blood gushed out, and Nan Qu completely lost consciousness.

After an unknown amount of time, Nanqu regained consciousness. She found herself lying in the wooden hut she had built.

The next second, Nan Qu disappeared into the wooden house.

As the portal to another dimension vanished before her eyes, Nan Qu loosened her grip.

Finally, he simply took out a set of clothes from the space, put them on, and then came out of the space as if nothing had happened.

When Nanqu came out after changing her clothes, she saw Regal clumsily feeding wild berries to the cubs.

Nan Qu's previously depressed mood finally improved somewhat.

Thankfully, she still had it by her side.

"Master, don't just stand there in a daze. Come and help! These brats are too noisy." If it weren't for the fact that these brats were of some use, Regal would have thrown them away when Nanqu fainted.

The disappearance of the spacetime portal naturally alerted Regar, who was the contracted beast of the Southern District.

Regal knew perfectly well how important the Gate of Time was to Nanqu. The best way to prevent his master from being sad forever was to keep him busy.

Sure enough, seeing these adorable little ones squealing, Nan Qu hurriedly took out a syringe from her spatial storage and juiced the wild berries for them to drink.

Soon, all five kittens had eaten their fill and fell asleep.

Nanqu carried the five chicks back into the hut, made them a nest out of soft straw, and then put them inside. She then came out again.

She originally thought this house would be her temporary home, but she never expected that she would be living here from now on.

Since that day, Nanqu has never seen thunder and lightning again. The weather has been fine every day.

Although there were no tools like shovels in the space, the laboratory had a lot of equipment used in Western medicine.

Nanqu retrieved a hacksaw and a sharp scalpel from inside. Using these two tools, she rebuilt a spacious, bright, two-story house with large windows.

Not only that, Nanqu also made tables, chairs, and benches out of wood. She even carved out a toilet. Furthermore, she built a waterwheel to provide herself with a water source.

After finishing all that, Nanqu suddenly realized that the leaves around her were starting to turn yellow and the weather was getting colder.

Because there had been constant thunder and lightning, Nanqu was unaware of the changing seasons.

Now that things have returned to normal, Nanqu realized that it seems there are cold seasons here too.

It looks like she's going to collect a lot of things for the winter.
