Nan Qu was very fortunate that the time and space she traveled to this time was modern, and that her personal information could be found online instead of on paper.
Data is really not safe~
Nan Qu, who had originally wanted to sleep, lost interest. In one night, she first created a new account and transferred half of Emilia's money to it. She also transferred some of her real estate.
However, what was done was for Emilia to make payments for things she bought from this account.
In this way, Emilia's money had a place to go, preventing her from being suspected of transferring a large sum of money out of the bank.
Sure enough, the next day, Nan Qu received a phone call from her father.
Following Emilia's personality, Nan Qu replied, "The location of that villa is not good; I don't like it."
Soon, Emilia's father also learned from his son about Emilia's unrequited love, and then received a great deal of loving care from her father.
Nan Qu raised an eyebrow; this father seemed much better than she had imagined.
At least according to the book's account, after the Romanov family went bankrupt, Emilia's father did not complain that it was because Emilia was clinging to Charles that they were targeted.
In the book, to satirize Emilia, a noblewoman, Rose becomes a high-ranking noblewoman in the end, while Emilia leaves in a wretched manner in the carriage her father brought from the farm.
Therefore, in the end, this father remained Emilia's haven.
Thinking about this, and considering the large sum of money involved, Nan Qu felt she still had to take advantage of her father.
So, another huge shopping spree ensued, and in the end, all the money ended up in Nan Qu Kai's account.
As for how it was done, it was just a matter of setting up a wire.
After finishing all that, Nanqu stretched and planned to wash up and then go to school.
However, when she entered the bathroom, she was startled by her reflection in the mirror.
Rough pores, messy hair, and the decadence of excessive indulgence. Most importantly, it's unbelievable that a woman would ruin her kidneys like this.
Nanqu took out her toiletries from her own space and gave herself a thorough pampering.
How could a noblewoman like her be so careless with herself? She's so rich, yet she's thinking about that kind of thing every day and doesn't even have time for basic beauty treatments?
While applying a face mask, Nanqu went to the kitchen and was speechless at the sight of a huge pile of kitchen utensils that were still in their packaging.
She took out the ingredients from her spatial storage and cooked herself some yam and millet porridge. Yam is an excellent food for nourishing the spleen, and millet porridge is even better for the stomach. Yam and millet porridge was perfect for her, given her tendency to drink excessively, indulge in unhealthy lifestyles, and stay up late.
I also took out the xiaolongbao I made earlier and heated them up. Then I got myself some medicine to regulate my body.
Seeing that the face mask was almost done, Nan Qu went to the bathroom to wash her face. Looking at her pale face covered with freckles and dark circles under her eyes, Nan Qu couldn't bear to look at it anymore.
And this limp hair, it looks like it'll fall out in a clump if you exert any force. Nanqu is truly speechless.
She quickly washed her face and removed the conditioner from her hair. After drying her hair and applying skincare and hair care products, Nanqu returned to the kitchen to start decocting the medicine.
"Emilia? What kind of magic are you using?"
Nan Qu glanced at the sleepy-eyed Henry, who had clearly come by smelling the distinctive aroma of traditional Chinese medicine herbs.
To prepare the medicine, Nanqu would specially set up a small stove, use matches, and a medicine pot in the garden outside.
"Do you want breakfast?"
"What?" Henry didn't react.
Nanqu, however, interpreted it as: "Yam and millet porridge and steamed buns."
Henry was dumbfounded: "What is that?"
Nan Qu saw that the medicine was ready, and carried the pot into the kitchen with a heat-resistant cloth. Henry, for reasons unknown, followed Nan Qu inside.
Watching Nan Qu pour herself a bowl of dark water, and then watching her take a pot off the burning stove next to her.
Henry stared dumbfounded as Nanqu deftly placed a plate of small steamed buns and two bowls of porridge on the table.
"These things won't automatically come to your mouth even if you're just spacing out. If you're not going to eat them, then go back. You're really affecting my appetite."
Henry watched as the man slowly and methodically picked up food with his chopsticks, dipped it in the sauce on the small plate, and then popped it into his mouth. The sight made Henry's stomach rumble involuntarily.
Ignoring everything else, he sat down on the other side and picked up his chopsticks.
However, the chopsticks that were so obedient in Nan Qu's hands seemed to be working against him in Henry's hands. When he saw that Nan Qu had already eaten three buns, he was getting a little exasperated when Nan Qu handed him a fork.
"Sometimes, people need to learn to be flexible. And more importantly, they need to have self-awareness."
Henry was once again lectured by his sister, which made him very uncomfortable, but seeing that his sister was not upset because of Charles, he decided not to argue with her.
He forcefully forked a small steamed bun from his sister's mouth and stuffed it into his own.
The next second, Henry's eyes widened: "This bun is so delicious!"
Henry had eaten Chinese food before, on a date with a previous girlfriend. However, the food there was just so-so, nothing compared to this.
Henry was unaware that Chinese food served abroad was modified to suit foreign tastes and could not compare to authentic Chinese cuisine.
Nan Qu ignored him, put down her chopsticks, and started drinking her porridge.
Henry watched his sister drink from her bowl, and he followed suit, once again captivated by the simple millet porridge.
"Emilia, are you a genius? How can you make such delicious food?"
While praising the food, she kept stuffing it into her mouth. Nanqu couldn't eat much because she had to drink a bowl of medicine, so the rest went to her cheap older brother.
After Henry finished eating, Nanqu stood up to clean up the kitchen and said, "By the way, this breakfast cost 1,000 euros. Remember to transfer the money."
Henry's good mood instantly soured: "You're charging me? And is this made of gold? A thousand euros? Do you know how much food a thousand euros can buy?"
Nan Qu looked at him calmly without saying a word.
Henry conceded: "Turn!"
Nan Qu began packing her things with satisfaction.
Henry, however, suddenly remembered something after making money: "Amelia, what was that black potion you just drank? Was it a potion?"
Nan Qu hummed in agreement: "I overindulged in sex, so I found a Chinese doctor to treat me. You know I just spent a lot of money, right?"
Henry's eyes widened: "What kind of treatment costs so much money? Emilia, have you been scammed?"
"Didn't you already have breakfast? This is also part of the conditioning. You didn't like the taste?"
Henry choked for a moment, then thought about the breakfast he had just eaten: "I knew it! How did you know how to cook? So someone taught you?"
After saying that, Henry licked his lips: "Then let me know when we're having this meal next time?"
Upon hearing this, Nan Qu turned around and glanced at Henry: "Don't you have to go to class?"
