Chapter 188 Departure

Henry watched as Nanqu, carrying a box in one hand and closing the door with the other, struggled to get up from the somewhat soft inflatable bed, and hurried over to lend a helping hand.

Nan Qu didn't hand it to him, but instead said, "Could you please put the things on my desk on the bed so we can eat?"

Henry then realized that what Nanqu had taken was a food box.

He obediently put the things away and watched as Nan Qu placed the food box on the table: "The Chinese food in the school cafeteria is delicious. Luckily, I ordered a year's worth in advance, otherwise, it would be quite expensive."

Watching Nanqu take out four dishes from the food box, plus two servings of rice, she handed one to Henry.

Henry didn't think Chinese food was bad like the others; seeing that Nan Qu was eating with relish, he started eating too.

This time, Henry realized what he had missed during his three years at this school!

Henry's thoughts were once again diverted, and he began to eat voraciously.

Halfway through the meal, Henry suddenly looked up at his sister's face and asked, "You, your face?"

Nan Qu calmly replied, "Oh, it's always about putting on a show."

Henry then realized that what he had seen before was all an illusion; Emilia seemed quite used to the family's bankruptcy.

So, he was the one who found it hardest to accept that his family had gone bankrupt?

After finishing his meal, Henry watched as Nanqu took the dishes into the bathroom, only to discover that there was actually a dishwasher in the bathroom. How well-equipped!

While putting the bowls in to wash, Nanqu took the clothes out of the washing machine, gave Henry's clothes to him, and then held her own clothes in her hands.

Henry then realized that in such a short time, the washing machine had actually completed the washing and drying process.

"Your underwear is washed, take it out."

Henry rushed over and took it out. Nan Qu then cleaned and disinfected the small washing machine for washing underwear before putting her own underwear in to wash.

Henry looked at all this and suddenly felt confused. Was Emilia's behavior considered independent?

Henry lay on the overly soft air mattress that night, still feeling a little uncomfortable, when he heard Nan Qu say, "You don't need to come back tomorrow. I'll graduate peacefully. There won't be any problems."

Henry grunted in agreement.

Concealing complex emotions.

He knew what use he was here. Rather than staying here and grieving with her, he should focus on making money so he could give her a better life after she graduated.

The next day, after Henry left, everything returned to normal.

However, although the male and female leads, Nan Qu, could not be shaken, Hannah was fired.

It wasn't because Hannah was no longer first in her grade, but because the school's investigation revealed that she was the instigator of the students' demonstrations.

The school has said it will stop bullying, and Hannah is going against the grain.

Without Hannah as the vanguard, Ruth also quieted down for a while.

However, this peace didn't last long. Charles not only gave Ruth everything the Romanov family had acquired, but also helped her become a noble, albeit a lower-ranking one, which was enough to make her proud.

Ruth, who was usually so low-key, came to Nan Qu's side with great arrogance, showing off everything about herself like a peacock.

At first, Nanqu could cooperate by pretending to be very jealous a couple of times, but over time it became annoying.

Nan Qu simply dropped the pretense and asked for leave.

She did the eldest princess a favor, so asking for leave was quite easy for her.

Finally, graduation day arrived. After restoring her apartment, Nan Qu left the school with her luggage.

At that moment, she left this world.

The box contained things she left for Emilia. After she left, Emilia's memories would be altered. At that time, her memories would merge with the novel's plot, but she would also lose some of her memories of knowing a very powerful traditional Chinese medicine doctor.

After Nanqu left, Emilia stood frozen at the school gate. Her memory was of graduating, but having nowhere to go.

Just then, her father arrived in a carriage and took her away.
