Upon seeing this, the crowd was initially taken aback, but then surged forward, wanting to follow Nan Qu inside. Nan Qu frowned, her figure flashing as she entered the cave first. The entrance quickly closed again after she entered, keeping those who wanted to follow her out.
Upon entering the cave, she found herself in a spacious area filled with stone shelves displaying various jade boxes, ancient books, and magical artifacts radiating powerful spiritual energy. Nan Qu wasn't blinded by the treasures before her; she knew her greatest need was to improve her cultivation. So she ventured deeper into the cave, where the spiritual energy grew increasingly dense, with faint vortexes of spiritual power gathering within.
She found a place to sit down and continued to devote herself wholeheartedly to cultivation. With the abundant spiritual energy in the cave, Nanqu's cultivation level soared, breaking through the Golden Core stage and Nascent Soul stage in succession, and moving towards the Deity Transformation stage. However, the further she progressed, the greater the difficulty of cultivation became. Each breakthrough required enduring tremendous spiritual energy impacts and tests of inner demons.
But Nan Qu, with her unwavering will, overcame difficulties time and again, finally breaking through to the Nascent Soul stage. At this point, she was considered a powerful figure in this cultivation world, though still quite a distance from the Tribulation Transcending stage. She didn't slacken her efforts, continuing her secluded cultivation in her cave, utilizing the remaining opportunities within to hone her spiritual power, stabilize her cultivation, and strive with all her might towards the Tribulation Transcending stage. She knew that only by reaching the Tribulation Transcending stage could she go to the Magical Dimension to complete her next mission and acquire more power to combat unknown dangers.
It was at this moment that Nan Qu realized that her cultivation level directly affected the cultivation level of her contracted divine beasts. Especially after her cultivation level reached the Tribulation Transcending stage, the divine beasts all became powerful eighth-tier divine beasts.
......
Previously, Nan Qu always used the guise of travel to actually leave. Now, she is truly going to travel through magical time and space.
"Xiao Kong, do you really not know what the dragon's energy source is?"
Not only did the Time-Space Beast not know, but even the dragon itself was hearing about it for the first time.
Helpless, Nanqu could only go to Taya first and ask her about the story of the dragon.
As a princess and someone who once guarded the dragon, Taya should have some understanding of dragons.
Unexpectedly, she replied, "I've never even heard of it."
Nan Qu said helplessly, "Do you know any stories about dragons? Legends are fine too."
Taya thought for a moment and said, "If we're talking about stories, there are several versions I often heard when I was a child."
Taya rested her chin on her hand and recalled, "One version says that the dragon was originally a divine beast created by the creator god to protect the balance of the world. It possessed endless power and could control the elemental forces of the world. But later, for some reason, it fell into a deep sleep, and its power was scattered to every corner of the magical space-time. So, the magical energy that everyone has now is a gift from the dragon."
Nan Qu listened, nodding thoughtfully: "Did they say where those power sources might appear?"
Taya shook her head: "I'm not too sure about that, it's just a story I heard when I was a kid. But there's another legend that says at the end of the magical spacetime, there's a mysterious floating island with an ancient castle sealed by magic. Inside the castle are key clues about the power of dragons. But the end of that magical spacetime is hard to find. It's said to be full of powerful magical storms and mysterious magical creatures, it's very dangerous."
Nanqu suddenly thought of something and asked, "Taya, if—I mean, if I find a way to restore the dragons, but the price is that the people of the magical world will no longer have magic, wouldn't you be very sad?"
Taya looked at Nanqu seriously: "Has something happened?"
Not wanting Taya to worry, Nanqu smiled and shook her head: "No, nothing's wrong. Don't worry, everything is fine."
Taya sighed, "I've always known you're different. But we've known each other for quite some time, and you've saved my life many times. If I could, I'd like to help you too. But clearly, that's beyond my reach."
After saying that, Taya continued, "Although losing magic might change many things, don't underestimate humanity's adaptability. Even without magic, we can still live very well. So, don't hesitate. If it's something that has to be done, then don't hesitate!"
A warm feeling welled up in Nan Qu's heart. She looked at Taya and said sincerely, "Taya, thank you. I feel much more at ease after hearing your words. However, I will definitely not let this happen unless absolutely necessary. I will try my best to find a solution that satisfies both sides."
Taya patted Nanqu on the shoulder: "I believe you can do it. So what are you planning to do next? Are you going to search for that legendary floating island?"
Nan Qu nodded: "Yes, that's the only way we can try for now. It sounds dangerous, but we have no other choice but to try to find the dragon's energy source."
Taya thought for a moment, then took out an exquisite magic box from her room and handed it to Nanqu: "Take this with you. It's a magical treasure passed down in our family. It can help you withstand a powerful magical attack at a critical moment. It might come in handy when you encounter danger."
Nan Qu took the box and said gratefully, "Taya, this is so precious, thank you."
After bidding farewell to Taya, Nanqu set off towards the end of the magical spacetime. Along the way, she indeed encountered various powerful magical storms, just as Taya had described. These storms raged, seemingly threatening to engulf and shatter everything in their path. Fortunately, Nanqu's current cultivation level was child's play against them. It was here that Nanqu understood why the spacetime beasts insisted she improve her cultivation before coming.
