Just as she was about to reach the suspicious spot at the top of the cave, a powerful beam of energy shot straight at her, leaving her no way to avoid it.

A deafening boom followed, a flash of light, and Nan Qu was thrown backward by the powerful impact, a trickle of blood escaping from the corner of her mouth. But her gaze remained resolute, fixed intently on her target at the top of the cave.
After regaining her balance, she exerted her strength again and rushed towards her target. This time, she finally reached the location. There, she saw a black crystal embedded in the formation, with complex runes flowing across its surface. It was this crystal that continuously maintained the formation's operation and controlled the surrounding energy fluctuations.
Without the slightest hesitation, Nan Qu raised her sword and thrust it with all her might towards the black crystal. The instant the sword touched the crystal, it burst forth with a bright light, attempting to resist. But Nan Qu gritted her teeth, poured all the remaining spiritual power in her body into the sword, and stirred it forcefully.
