Taya shook her head: "The dragon awakens every year and is brought back to sleep by the song. I just don't know why it has awakened earlier this time."
As the dragon's claws came crashing down, Shang Qu once again pulled Taya aside to dodge.
Then, seeing the dragon's clumsy movements, and realizing she could now reconnect to her spatial dimension, Shang Qu made a decision. She pushed Taya towards the stairs behind her: "Find a place to hide!"
Taya stared in disbelief at the eight-year-old girl before her. She had always thought of this girl as a talentless and extremely cunning child. Moreover, Taya had never seen any respect for her in her eyes.
She was a princess, worshipped by all her subjects. But this girl always looked at her as an ordinary person.
It was a strange feeling, but surprisingly, she could only relax when she was with her. So, even though she could give up teaching her, she was unwilling to let her leave because of her special nature.
And now, this girl has rescued her from the clutches of the dragon twice. Even the strongest knight on her father's side might not be able to move that fast. Yet, this girl has done it.
Taya is a princess and has the duty to protect her people, but this time, this eight-year-old girl made her feel protected.
Having dodged the dragon's attack once again, Shang Qu thought that if the dragon were to step on the castle, it would probably be destroyed.
However, compared to the dragon, Shang Qu was far too insignificant, and she was genuinely worried that the dragon would not be able to see her presence.
So Shang Qu simply took out the beast-attracting incense, quickly lit it, and let the scent attract the dragon.
The scent of incense made the dragon, which had been wreaking havoc everywhere, pause.
Shangqu realized that it must have smelled the fragrance. So without delay, it jumped off the city wall, which was more than ten meters high.
"don't want!"
Taya was terrified by what she saw. Ignoring the fact that she had been discovered by the dragon, she looked in the direction Shangqu had jumped down.
However, they were surprised to see that Shang Qu landed safely on the vertical city wall as if walking on flat ground.
Taya could hardly believe what she was seeing.
However, when she saw that figure running quickly outside, and the dragon chasing after her, Taya froze in place.
Finally, he sat down on the ground, processing what had just happened.
She had never seen anyone so agile. She couldn't believe she had managed to lure the dragon away so easily.
Shang Qu ran quickly, thinking that as long as she was fast enough, she should be able to escape the dragon's pursuit. However, she was surprised to find that the dragon's seemingly fragile wings were actually capable of flight.
Just as the dragon breathed fire at Shang Qu, Shang Qu had nowhere to escape and could only quickly enter the space.
As Shang Qu took out the corpse-dissolving powder, he sprinkled it directly on the dragon's body the instant he left the space.
The instant she succeeded, she quickly entered the space again.
About ten minutes later, Shang Qu expected to see a swamp of sewage, but to his surprise, the giant dragon was completely unharmed.
What Shang Qu found even more unbelievable was that the moment she came out, she was completely imprisoned.
"You're more interesting than all of them."
Uh, it can talk?
Just as Shang Qu was wondering what to do, the dragon said again, "Do you still have that powder? It was quite delicious."
"Pretty, delicious?" Is that even human language? Okay, it's not human, no, what is this thing anyway? It's highly poisonous! Is it being eaten as a snack?
Are you kidding me?
This is an absolute insult to her!
Today, she'll show it that her title of "poison doctor" isn't for nothing!
"Soul-Devouring Flower, Hundred Poisons Soul-Chasing Powder, Heart-Severing Bone-Corroding Pill, Purple Night Flying Blood Pill, Bewitching Butterfly Powder, Ghostly Howling Liquid, Nine Yang Death-Slaying Powder..."
Seeing that each bottle of poison, no matter which one, could knock down even a master with profound internal strength, was now being eaten by this giant dragon like snacks, bottle and all.
So all those porcelain medicine bottles she had were just "chocolate shells" in this dragon's mouth?
Shang Qu finally gave up. Now, apart from being able to take things out of the space, she was completely imprisoned by this thing. Clearly, this thing probably also had some kind of mental attack capability.
Destroy it, quickly. She was no match for the dragon; she resigned herself to it.
If I die this time, I probably won't time travel again. That's good, it'll end it all.
However, seeing Shang Qu close her eyes and completely give up in his hands, the dragon blinked and scratched her twice with its fingernails.
Shang Qu, annoyed by being rummaged through, said, "Aren't you annoying? If you're going to kill me, just do it quickly, don't touch me!"
The dragon was instantly amused by Shang Qu, as if it had found a toy, and nudged her a couple more times.
Because the dragon was too big, and Shang Qu possessed an aura of "a scholar can be killed but not humiliated," he struggled for a moment.
So the dragon, which hadn't intended to hurt her, ended up scratching Shang Qu's face.
The dragon clearly hadn't expected this, but Shang Qu didn't care. She was about to die anyway, why would she worry about being disfigured?
Neither Shang Qu nor the dragon expected that a drop of blood on their faces would float in the air and then quickly head towards the dragon's brow.
The next second, the dragon that had been holding her suddenly released her. Although she didn't know what had happened, Shang Qu entered the space at top speed.
Don't blame her for not saving the Kingdom of Joy; she can't win.
