Lao Jun blushed and said, "It's a secret, I can't tell you!"
"Tsk tsk tsk!" Ye Qianqian curled her lips.
"Fine, if you're not going to talk about it, then don't! So how can I possibly hear the villain's inner thoughts?"
Lao Jun gave Ye Qianqian a yellow pill.
"After you consume this, tonight is the night of the full moon. So cultivate diligently while gazing at the moon, and tomorrow you will be able to hear the inner thoughts of any villains who are hostile to you!"
Ye Qianqian took the pill and smelled it.
"Why does it taste so strange? It's like a mixture of cilantro and houttuynia cordata."
"Laojun, you're not lying to me, are you?"
Lao Jun shrugged.
Why would I lie to you? What good would it do me?
"You're just a little fairy with no powerful magic; there's nothing about you that I could possibly want!"
Ye Qianqian thought for a moment.
"This is too much of a blow! Don't I, Ye Qianqian, have any redeeming qualities at all? At least my looks are considered pretty good in the Heavenly Palace! Although I'm not as beautiful as the Moon Goddess Chang'e!"
Lao Jun curled his lip.
"How confident you are to compare yourself to Chang'e! Why do you think Chang'e can live alone on the moon? It's because she's allowed to!"
Ye Qianqian suddenly realized something.
"Could there be something fishy going on here?"
"I didn't say anything, so don't talk nonsense!" Laozi said immediately.
"If the Jade Emperor finds out, I'm doomed!"
"Alright, I'm leaving now. Take good care of yourself!"
Lao Jun was just about to leave.
Suddenly, something occurred to me.
He turned around and said.
"I've helped you so much, shouldn't I at least give you something in return?"
As he spoke, Lao Jun glanced at the golden lock around Ye Qianqian's neck.
"No way, you're a deity, and you actually like such mundane things as gold? Aren't you always known for being detached from worldly desires?" Ye Qianqian pouted.
"To give or not to give?"
"No."
"Give me back the elixir."
Ye Qianqian swallowed the elixir directly!
"Wait until I pull it out for you!"
Lao Jun was so angry that he hit her on the head again.
"You're wasting all your intelligence on these petty tricks!"
With that, Laozi rode away on a cloud.
Ye Qianqian said with a grin, "Luckily I ate it beforehand, which saved my big gold lock."
Ye Qianqian touched her neck as she spoke.
Then he froze.
There was nothing above the neck.
Big Golden Lock has disappeared without a trace.
Ye Qianqian instantly understood!
It must have been taken by that guy Laozi!

But she was just pretending to be angry!
