"You old bastard surnamed Huang, I'm giving you face and you don't appreciate it, you insist on going against me, don't you? Fine, very well."
"It seems you old codger don't care about your beautiful apprentice anymore, then don't blame me for being impolite."
After gritting his teeth and saying these words, Sato quickly walked to Su Xingran's side and roughly pulled her up with one hand.
Sato grabbed Su Xingran by the neck with one hand. "Old man, do you think your beloved disciple's neck will break if I tighten my grip?"
Su Xingran was choked until she couldn't breathe, her face turning completely red. When Doctor Huang looked up and saw this, his heart clenched.
"Let her go, let her go now, you're going to strangle her to death!" Dr. Huang shouted these words with all his might.
"You care? I thought you didn't. I'll ask you one last time: are you willing to serve the Emperor of the Sakura Empire?"
Doctor Huang stared intently at the large hand gripping Su Xingran. He couldn't back down; he was Chinese, a soldier of China. But Xingran was his apprentice, his family. Doctor Huang was suddenly caught in a dilemma.
When Sato was asking questions, he loosened his grip slightly, giving Su Xingran a chance to catch her breath. She took a deep breath, but choked and coughed incessantly.
Sato looked at Doctor Huang, who was staring at him, and smiled cruelly. He saw that Doctor Huang's will remained firm; it seemed his fire wasn't burning bright enough. He'd add more fuel to the fire!
"It seems you're still unwilling, old man. Well then, just watch and see what happens to your beloved disciple!" Sato stopped pinching Su Xingran.
But he placed his hand on Su Xingran's collarbone, slowly sliding it down. He also looked at Doctor Huang with a provocative smile.
Dr. Huang guessed what Sato was going to do and began to struggle frantically. He roared, "Let her go! You beast, let her go!" Tears streamed down Dr. Huang's face as he shouted.
Doctor Huang was filled with resentment, hating himself for agreeing to go on the adventure with Xingran, hating himself for not being able to protect her. Overwhelmed with anger and grief, Doctor Huang couldn't catch his breath and fainted.
Su Xingran turned her head and smiled silently at her master. But her smile was quickly replaced by indifference. Just as Sato's hand was about to slide down her collarbone...
Su Xingran grabbed Sato's hand with one hand and sprinkled the powder into his eyes with the other. While Sato was bending back and rubbing his eyes because of the pain, Su Xingran inserted a silver needle into his acupoint for speech.
Sato, who was trying to scream in pain, was instantly silenced after his pressure point was needled. Su Xingran immediately took out a sleeping potion and inserted it directly into Sato's mouth and nose, who was kneeling on the ground wiping his eyes.
Sato struggled a few times before collapsing to the ground, unconscious. Su Xingran walked to Sato's side and took his gun from his body. Looking at the unconscious Sato on the ground, Su Xingran recalled his vicious words.
The thought of him humiliating her to force her master to submit, and the countless humiliations suffered by Chinese women during the Japanese invasion of China, made Su Xingran take out a sharp scalpel from her spatial storage.
Su Xingran crouched down, scalpel in hand, and slashed down Sato's lower body. The unconscious Sato trembled slightly. Su Xingran, holding the blood-stained scalpel, coldly stood up.
