Upon hearing these words, all four of them simultaneously put down their chopsticks. "Xiaofeng, you said someone came to my house to cause trouble?" Su Xingran stood up abruptly.
"Yes, Sister Xingran, those people came on bicycles, there were so many of them. My mother thought something was wrong, so she told me to come to Doctor Huang's house to find you." Xiaofeng was Su Xingran's next-door neighbor, Uncle Jiazhu's son.
"Okay, thank you, Xiaofeng. I'm going back now." Su Xingran turned around: "Master, Uncle Duan, Brother Gu, I'll be going now."
"Xingran, you go first. Your Uncle Duan, Brother Gu, and I will go right away." Doctor Huang never expected that someone would be so audacious as to come to their door and forcibly take Xingran as their wife.
Su Xingran nodded and ran quickly towards home with Xiaofeng. Seeing her running so fast with a child, the villagers assumed something had happened and hurried after her.
When Su Xingran arrived home, the men Wang Haibo brought had already begun shoving her parents. Su's father pulled her mother behind him, using his hands to shield them. These men were pushing and shoving Su's parents, their aim being to break into the Su family home to find Su Xingran.
Upon seeing this, Su Xingran's expression instantly turned cold. She quickly ran through the gap to the side and shouted, "Stop!"
Wang Haibo and his group stopped and searched for the source of the sound. Finally, Wang Haibo spotted Su Xingran in the crowd.
"Wife, you're back! I've come to take you home. Come with me quickly. Our parents are waiting for us to come back for our wedding!" Wang Haibo's eyes lit up when he saw Su Xingran, and he quickly walked up to her.
With a loud "slap," Wang Haibo remained, still grinning lewdly. He was slapped by Su Xingran and staggered back several steps.
"Shameless bastards! They dare to come to our door and kidnap a girl in broad daylight. How are their crimes any different from those of the invading enemies during wartime?" Su Xingran was genuinely angry; she recognized the black bear in front of her.
He tried to talk to me on the street but I ignored him. Then he went to the school gate, but I ignored him there too. Now, he's come knocking on my door trying to rob me.
Wang Haibo was slapped in front of so many people. He felt he had completely lost face, and he was determined to teach this ungrateful woman a lesson.
"You shameless bitch, you dare to hit me? If I don't teach you a lesson today, you won't know who I, Young Master Wang, am."
After saying this, Wang Haibo stepped forward, intending to hit Su Xingran. He had just reached out his hand to strike when he was kicked to the ground. Wang Haibo's lackeys quickly scrambled to pull him up.
Su Xingran kicked out too quickly; only those standing next to her saw that she had kicked the person. The people surrounding her instinctively took a few steps back.
"Ranran, are you alright?" Su's mother walked anxiously to Su Xingran's side, took her hand and asked.
"Mom, I'm fine. Are you and Dad alright? Did these people hurt you?" Su Xingran was also nervous. After all, when she came back, she only saw her parents being pushed and shoved, and she didn't know if they had been beaten.
"Ranran, Mom and Dad are fine. These people, for some reason, insisted on coming in to find you and taking you away."
