"Xingran, are you alright? Are you hurt anywhere?" Doctor Huang rushed to Su Xingran's side. He had just followed Su Xingran out the door when he was stopped by the old village chief's granddaughter-in-law.
The old village chief's granddaughter-in-law said, "Dr. Huang, please come to my house and see my grandfather. He is in great pain and can't breathe."
Worried that something might have happened to the old village chief, Dr. Huang quickly turned around and went to the old village chief's house. Dr. Huang went first, while Duan Yuming went back inside to get his medicine kit. After they examined the old village chief, they determined that he simply had too much phlegm in his throat that couldn't be cleared and was stuck there, which was why he couldn't breathe.
Dr. Huang and Duan Yuming rushed from the old village chief's house toward the Su family. Unexpectedly, upon approaching the Su family home, they found the father and daughter being beaten by a group of people.
