Chapter 189 Contract Agreement (2/2)

"Commander Gao, Comrade Chen, please have some tea. You can tell me the results of your discussion directly."

Commander Gao nodded. "The leader agreed to your proposed conditions. You unconditionally support military use, and your proposal for profit sharing in commercial use is reasonable, according to the leader. The leader said that since you contributed the formula with a sense of righteousness, the country cannot let you suffer too much loss."

"The leader said the profit sharing should be 50/50, with the state taking 50% and you taking 50%. Now is a time when the country needs construction and it consumes a lot of funds, so this is the only way to share the profits. Comrade Su Xingran, the leader also agreed to the first two requests you made, and he fully understands your approach."

"The leader said he could grant you a promise, as you said, that it wouldn't violate the law, discipline, or moral bottom line. Secretary Chen brought the contract today, meaning everything will be signed according to the formal agreement."

Secretary Chen took a contract out of her bag and handed it to Su Xingran, who took it and began to read it. Huang Zhenhua walked in from outside at that moment.

Hearing the noise, Commander Gao, Secretary Chen, and Su Xingran turned to look at the entrance of the main hall. Commander Gao and Secretary Chen both recognized Huang Zhenhua, and they stood up from the sofa to greet him.

Huang Zhenhua waved his hand, "Sit down, everyone. Don't be shy. You can continue your conversation. I'll sit here and not participate."

"Master, please take a look at this contract. Secretary Chen brought it over. The contents of the agreement are consistent with the conditions and requirements I put forward." Su Xingran handed the contract to Huang Zhenhua.

Huang Zhenhua took the contract and opened it. The contents of the agreement seemed fine; nothing seemed to be detrimental to Xingran. However, he felt the profit-sharing arrangement was inappropriate, as he felt that such a profit-sharing arrangement wouldn't be conducive to Xingran's future development.

Huang Zhenhua handed the contract back to Su Xingran without saying a word. It all depended on Su Xingran's actions; after all, she was an adult and had the right to make her own choices.

Su Xingran looked at Commander Gao and Secretary Chen, "Now that I've signed my name, this contract is legally binding, right? If I want to change this contract, can I?"

Secretary Chen was somewhat puzzled; he didn't know what Su Xingran wanted to change, as the contract was being prepared according to her instructions. However, he still responsibly told Su Xingran that changes were possible, but she needed to consult with her superiors to determine the specific changes required.

Su Xingran didn't keep anyone in suspense. "The leader mentioned a 50/50 split. Secretary Chen, please write this down. I'm willing to take 30% of the share the leader gives me and donate it for national development."

Aside from Su Xingran herself, no one present expected that Su Xingran's intention to amend the contract was this way. Even Huang Zhenhua, who had just been considering the profit-sharing arrangement, worried it might not be good for Xingran's development, was surprised that Su Xingran had anticipated his unspoken thoughts and made the decision.

Secretary Chen almost applauded on the spot; he couldn't help but admire this young woman. Every step she took was unexpected, and every step carried a great sense of righteousness.

Commander Gao looked at Su Xingran and smiled silently. A person like this will never have to worry about finding a future; he will probably soar higher and higher.

When Su Xingran heard that the profit split was 50/50, she decided to donate 30% of it. She knew that only by doing so could she make her way forward and go further.
