The eldest son was pacing anxiously, when suddenly he looked up in surprise. That's right, how could he have forgotten the second son? The second son was also their father's son!
With this thought in mind, Old Man Su abandoned Old Man Su and ran to the fields to find his father. Old Man Su, lying on the bed, opened his eyes, and two tears streamed down his face.
At the school, the teacher instructed the principal, who then went to the classroom to experience it for himself. It was quite a challenge for the principal, who was over fifty years old; he almost couldn't find his way back to his office.
Ultimately, the principal decided that Su Wenli's class would be held in the school's open space. As for Su Wenli, the principal suggested that she go home.
The teacher, holding her breath, walked into the classroom and tapped on Su Wenli's desk. Embarrassed, Su Wenli hid her face in her hands, resting them on the desk.
Hearing the tapping on the table, Su Wenli looked up and saw it was her teacher, which made her even more embarrassed. Her face and ears turned completely red.
"Su Wenli, you don't need to come to class today. I've approved your leave. Go home and see a doctor to check your stomach and intestines." After saying this, the teacher hurriedly walked out of the classroom.
Su Wenli knew that staying at school was pointless; she was already ashamed, utterly humiliated. She grabbed her backpack, slung it over her shoulder, covered her face with her hands, and ran out of the classroom.
What's terrifying is that as Su Wenli ran out of the classroom, her bottom made a "plop plop plop" sound. She didn't dare stop along the way, running straight home.
The poor passersby, those walking behind her, were suffocated by the stench and hurriedly took another route. Some of the older women grumbled and cursed, saying that this young girl, so young, could wake up even a salted fish with her farts.
The eldest son ran to the field to find his father. "Second son, stop working! Dad's had an accident and needs to be taken to the town hospital. Go ask for leave, then borrow a cart and push Dad to the hospital."
Even though Su's father didn't want to get involved, he had no choice but to. He went to the brigade leader to ask for leave and heard the brigade leader say that Old Man Su had probably suffered a stroke.
Su's father borrowed a cart from the brigade and pushed it to Old Su's house. He went to Old Su's room, wanting to find a quilt to put on the cart.
Old Mrs. Su saw her husband looking around the room. "Second son, what are you looking for? Weren't you supposed to take your father to the hospital?"
The cart needs something to put on it. See if you have anything suitable at home and take it to put on the cart.
Old Mrs. Su searched around but couldn't find anything suitable to pad the cart. Since their house had been emptied earlier, and because of the hot weather, they hadn't bought any blankets. Finally, they took a few pieces of clothing and spread them on the cart.
Father Su didn't expect that the eldest son could carry the old man onto the cart. It was Father Su who went into the room and carried the old man onto the cart. As he carried him, Father Su glanced at the old man.
Old Man Su looked at his father, who was holding him, and tears welled up in his eyes. His father ignored him; there was no fatherly affection between them.
Just as they put Old Man Su down on the cart, a foul odor suddenly wafted over. Su's father frowned; where did this stench come from? It was unbearably foul.
Old Master Su and his wife also smelled the stench. The two of them pinched their noses at the same time, saying, "It stinks, it stinks."
Su Wenli ran to her doorstep and saw someone standing there. She tried to run back to avoid them, but Old Mrs. Su had already seen her.
"Wenli, why are you back? Don't you have school?" Old Mrs. Su called out loudly to Su Wenli.
