Early in the morning, Su's parents took an oxcart to town to buy supplies. Su Xingran's graduation banquet was tomorrow. Su Xingran was left alone at home.

Su Wenli walked all the way to the edge of the cliff before stopping. Su Xingran followed her to the edge. Su Wenli turned around and approached Su Xingran.

"Although I have my grandmother who loves me, it's not the same love I receive. My mother is the same; she loves my older brother the most, and she's only nice to me because my grandmother is nice to me."
"My father and grandfather favored boys over girls, so they never showed me any affection or paid any attention to me."
"Only you, Su Xingran, have obtained everything completely. Parents, master, all kinds of people, and now you have been admitted to university and become the top liberal arts student."
