Chapter 4 She's going to move everything out of the house.

After dinner, back in the room, Hu Dayong suddenly said to Yang Aizhen, "Actually, I also feel sorry for Han Shu, but the policies have been strict these past two years. We have two high school students in our family, and one of them has to go."

Although this wasn't entirely true, Yang Aizhen was flattered that Hu Dayong offered words of comfort.

She quickly said, "Han Shu has been spoiled since she was a child. It's good for her to go to the countryside to get some experience. Unlike Wen Wen, who grew up in the countryside, she doesn't need to go back and suffer there."

Hu Dayong nodded in satisfaction, took off his socks, and put his feet into the foot-washing water that Yang Aizhen brought over.

Yang Aizhen squatted down to wash Hu Dayong's feet, while Hu Dayong looked down from above, feeling extremely satisfied and proud.

It's astonishing that someone from a rural background who was a pig butcher could marry a landlord's daughter like Yang Aizhen after his third marriage. And this landlord's daughter was completely obedient to him and served him comfortably.

At this point in my life, the only thing I'm still worried about is my son's marriage.

Given Hu Bingbing's circumstances, it would be difficult for him to find a wife even in the countryside, let alone in the city. Finding someone without any defects would be as difficult as climbing to heaven.

Hu Dayong had an idea that he had been pondering for a long time...

He coughed lightly and asked gently, "Is Han Shu still throwing a tantrum?"

These past few days, Qin Hanshu has basically stayed in her room, not even eating a meal. It's clear this girl is different from Yang Aizhen; she can be ruthless if pushed too far.

Yang Aizhen glanced nervously at Hu Dayong and spoke up for her daughter.

"No, she's still physically weak and too lazy to move. I talked to her nicely, and she's come to terms with it and said she's willing to go to the countryside."

Hu Dayong nodded and said, "That's good. Tell her that going to the countryside is only temporary. In a year or two, even if I'm supporting her for nothing, I'll get her a medical retirement and send her back to the city."

Yang Aizhen exclaimed happily, "Really?"

Hu Dayong grinned lewdly and touched Yang Aizhen's body intimately with his wet foot. "When have I ever lied to you?"

Yang Aizhen lowered her head shyly.

Hu Dayong felt an itch in his heart, so he pulled Yang Aizhen up and pushed her down onto the kang (a heated brick bed).

After all that fuss, Hu Dayong put his arm around a satisfied Yang Aizhen and said, "In a while, I'll transfer Bingbing's household registration back to the meat processing plant."

Yang Aizhen asked in surprise, "Why?"

Hu Dayong sighed, "Although they are not blood siblings, they are on the same household registration, so they can't get a marriage certificate."

Yang Aizhen was stunned for a moment, then suddenly stood up and looked at Hu Dayong in shock.

Hu Dayong pulled her back forcefully and continued, "Bingbing isn't very bright, but he's honest, strong, and now he has a skill to rely on. He'll be able to support his wife and children for the rest of his life. Han Shu won't lose out by marrying him."

Yang Aizhen wanted to argue, but Hu Dayong pressed down hard on her shoulder, and she woke up with a pain, speechless.

Hu Dayong closed his eyes. "Go to sleep."

***

Qin Hanshu sensed a hint of pity and heartache in Yang Aizhen's eyes as she looked at her. It certainly wasn't because of the trip to the countryside; she suddenly felt guilty towards Yang Aizhen.

Could it be that something happened that she doesn't know about, and Yang Aizhen sold her again?

Qin Hanshu has been studying the space carefully these past two days.

Previously, Hu Wenwen could only access the items in the space herself. She couldn't even use the Immortal Spring to cure Hu Bingbing's mental retardation. She could also use the space as a warehouse.

However, after conducting research, Qin Hanshu discovered that the space has many other functions.

For example, it can move according to a person's will. Qin Hanshu can stay inside the space and see everything that happens outside, but people outside cannot detect her. However, the distance she can move is limited; from her house to the entrance of the alley at most, and she can only move once a day.

Furthermore, she can set an anchor point to place the space in a certain location, and then come out and move around freely. The space will record everything in that place, just like surveillance in later generations. If there are no obstructions, it can monitor a radius of fifty meters without any blind spots.

Moreover, as long as the anchor point is not released, she can choose a location in the space, which means she can travel back and forth between two places instantly.

Of course, this anchor point function also has limitations: the location must be related to her, either she has been to that place, or the owner of that place has had interaction with her. Public spaces, on the other hand, can be set arbitrarily.

Qin Hanshu wanted to figure out what Yang Aizhen and Hu Dayong were up to, so she set an anchor point in their room, which took only a few seconds.

She soon found out the answer, but not through the conversation between Hu Dayong and Yang Aizhen, but through the conversation between Hu Dayong and Hu Bingbing.

That evening, Yang Aizhen was cooking dinner outside when Hu Bingbing entered Hu Dayong's house.

Hu Bingbing went in and said in a muffled voice, "Han Shu is not going to the countryside."

Hu Dayong glanced at his son and said, "Don't worry about it."

Hu Bingbing got anxious, "You said it yourself, she's my wife."

"Shut up!" Hu Dayong shouted, "You're making a fuss before things are even settled. Aren't you afraid of ruining it? And what about that night when you went and broke down that girl's door? I haven't even said anything about that yet!"

Hu Bingbing shrank his neck, but still stubbornly said, "Anyway, I can't let her leave. I want to sleep with my wife, and I want to have a son!"

Hu Dayong sighed and said helplessly, "Of course Dad wants to have a grandson, but Dad has his own plans... It has to be something she's willing to do, right?"

"Her suicide attempt this time shows that although she looks gentle, she actually has a fierce temper, and we can't be too forceful with her."

“Go to the countryside and suffer for a year or two, then she will beg to come back to the city.”

"That girl in the backyard, what a beautiful and aloof person she is! She's only been in the countryside for half a year, and in order to return to the city, she actually crawled into the bed of the local revolutionary committee director... Just think about it, if Han Shu suffers enough in the countryside, when she wants to return to the city, won't I be the one calling the shots?"
