Niu Quangen was terrified when the security guards arrived.
Xiao Zeng immediately rattled off the whole story, from Hu Wenwen finding an excuse to lure her out, to catching Zhao Ru and Niu Quangen embracing in bed.
The head of the security department glanced at Hu Wenwen, who was still being held down by Qin Hanshu, then at Zhao Ru and Niu Quangen, his mind blank.
"Stealing? Having an affair? These are two different things, right?"
Niu Quangen hurriedly denied it, saying, "I didn't have an affair! I didn't do anything with Zhao Zhiqing!"
Zeng said sternly, "I saw you two lying on the bed together, isn't that stealing? Are you a married couple? Even if you are, you can't do this in our guesthouse, the door wasn't even closed!"
Zhao Ru seemed to snap out of her daze, turned to look at Niu Quangen, and then shook her head in disgust, "We're not husband and wife, not..."
"I'm not a thief!" Hu Wenwen shouted. "You have no evidence to prove I'm a thief!"
Zhao Ru then noticed Hu Wenwen. After a long pause, she suddenly shuddered and pointed at Hu Wenwen, saying, "It's her!"
"She ordered me to do everything! She gave me fifty yuan and asked me to steal something Qin Hanshu always carried with her! I was blinded by greed and only listened to her because I was after that fifty yuan!"
"Who knew Qin Hanshu would change rooms..." Zhao Ru glanced at Qin Hanshu with some fear as she said this—she didn't believe it was a coincidence; Qin Hanshu must have already suspected something.
Zhao Ru kept shaking her head, "I didn't cheat on you, I didn't..."
"Zhao Ru!" Hu Wenwen shrieked, "Don't make false accusations!"

Qin Hanshu sneered: "I hit a thief, a bad guy!"
Before Hu Wenwen could speak again, Qin Hanshu slapped her twice more, and Hu Wenwen's face immediately swelled up.
Everyone else looked at Qin Hanshu in astonishment. This was too ruthless. What deep-seated hatred must there be?
However, Hu Wenwen is already in the wrong, and everyone is unhappy about her being here so late at night, so no one is speaking up for her.
Qin Hanshu pointed at Hu Wenwen, "If you didn't instruct Zhao Ru to steal things, did you instruct her to steal someone? These words shocked Hu Wenwen and the other two.
Qin Hanshu hurriedly said, "Comrade Niu Quangen is completely innocent in this matter. He is the victim. Why don't we just leave him here?"

She looked pleadingly at Qin Hanshu, then at Zhang Kangmei and Lin Zhiheng, who were staring blankly to the side.
