"It's alright," Qin Hanshu smiled. "Does your battalion commander have a girlfriend?"

"What good is it if you know that!" Zhou Weiguang glanced at Qin Hanshu beside him out of the corner of his eye. Seeing the smile on her lips, he felt uncomfortable but also relieved.
He loosened the top button of his shirt, feeling quite annoyed.
Damn, he's so nervous about a little girl!
The headquarters was not located in the city, but in a district or county under the jurisdiction of Jiangcheng.
The further the jeep drove, the fewer buildings appeared, and soon they even saw large tracts of farmland.
After the scenery of farmland, more people and houses appeared, and judging from the size, it should be a town.
Wang Xiaogang explained, "This is the town center of Jinma Town. It's only a half-hour walk from our workplace. Usually, family members come to town to buy whatever they need, and their basic living needs can be met."

Seeing that Zhou Weiguang was still standing there without moving, Qin Hanshu asked, "Third Brother Zhou, is there anything else?"
The nickname "Brother Wednesday" doesn't sound very nice; "Brother" would be better... I wonder if he'll ever reach that point!
Zhou Weiguang paused for a moment, then asked, "Did you receive the letter I sent you?"
Qin Hanshu recalled the diary-style letter, smiled, and nodded.
“Well…” Zhou Weiguang coughed, “I haven’t seen you reply to my letter.”
Qin Hanshu said, "I know I'll be visiting my family at the military base soon, so I didn't reply to you."
"I see." Zhou Weiguang's expression relaxed considerably.
"Um."
There was silence for a moment.
Zhou Weiguang noticed that Qin Hanshu looked tired and finally said goodbye.
The long train journey had indeed taken its toll on Qin Hanshu. After Zhou Weiguang left, she leaned against the bed and took a nap.
She didn't know how much time had passed when she was awakened by a knock on the door.
Thinking it was Zhou Weiguang again, he opened the door and saw Qin Feiyang's bright and handsome face.
Qin Hanshu's drowsiness vanished instantly, her emotions returned, and she called out in a trembling voice, "Brother..."
